Not keeping the customer at the center

I had the unfortunate experience of ordering an article with a 7 week delivery time.
A couple of weeks later, the same article was on discount - I tried therefore to cancel it and order with the discounted price (to be noted that I was still weeks away from delivery), or to get a voucher for the equivalent discount.

The answer was no, I had no right to cancel the order despite the article not being a personalised product.

I am particularly disappointed, it's the first time I hear of anything like this.

Worst experience ever!

Being a foreigner with a chalet in Wallis I ordered a new sofa at Micasa. The website did not accept the chalet address, the website did not accept my Dutch phone number, it was impossible to pay by Credit Card or Paypal, customer service cannot be reached by phone (from a foreign phone number), customer service responds very slowly on Emails, customer service asks a week before delivery for extra money due to currency rates (CHF-EUR), while they knew that a 20% discount would be effective in a few days and for another 4 weeks.
On the day of delivery I asked the customer service to compensate for the CHF 310 loss, but although the response started with" Your satisfaction is important to us", the answer was "we don't compensate for anything ".
Congratulations to the Micasa policy; I will return the sofa and re-order with 20% discount.
Apparently (looking at the other reviews) I am not the only one that is a very unsatisfied (ex)client.
Worst experience ever! Never again Micasa.ch
