Make your words for directions literally mean “left” and “no, the other left”,
Well… In my conlang Moten, “left”, “left arm” and “left hand” is nos(t), a simple root, while “right”, “right arm” and “right hand” is jestel, which literally means “other arm/hand” :P.
This, by the way, is a pattern that is sometimes found in natlangs, although it’s usually the left side that is the “other side”.
