Walkthrough

The changes remove several user management endpoints and client-side functionalities. In the backend, URL patterns for role addition and detailed user profiles are deleted from the routing, and the corresponding view class for handling detailed user profiles is removed. In the frontend, jQuery AJAX handlers for submitting withdraw and add balance forms have been eliminated, and the dashboard profile HTML template that previously rendered the user interface for these features has been deleted. These modifications adjust the application's routing and interface by removing deprecated functionalities.

Changes

Files Change Summary
blt/urls.py, website/views/user.py Removed URL patterns and the add_role function as well as the UserProfileDetailsView class, eliminating endpoints for role addition and detailed user profiles.
website/static/js/scripts.js, website/templates/dashboard_profile.html Removed jQuery handlers for the #withdraw and #addbalance forms and deleted the corresponding dashboard profile template, removing related client-side logic.

511-515: URL pattern for user dashboard maintained correctly

The user dashboard URL pattern has been preserved while the redundant user profile dashboard URL has been removed (as described in PR title). This is good as it maintains the essential functionality while eliminating duplicate routes.

This change aligns perfectly with the PR objective of "Removed The dashboard/user/profile/ extra dashboard" while keeping the main user dashboard route intact.

    • @coderabbitai modularize this function.
  • PR comments: Tag @coderabbitai in a new PR comment to ask questions about the PR branch. For the best results, please provide a very specific query, as very limited context is provided in this mode. Examples:
    • @coderabbitai gather interesting stats about this repository and render them as a table. Additionally, render a pie chart showing the language distribution in the codebase.
    • @coderabbitai read src/utils.ts and generate unit testing code.
    • @coderabbitai read the files in the src/scheduler package and generate a class diagram using mermaid and a README in the markdown format.
    • @coderabbitai help me debug CodeRabbit configuration file.

Note: Be mindful of the bot's finite context window. It's strongly recommended to break down tasks such as reading entire modules into smaller chunks. For a focused discussion, use review comments to chat about specific files and their changes, instead of using the PR comments.

@igennova Yes, you're correct. Based on the code analysis, the removed functionality was indeed duplicative:
  1. The main user profile is still accessible through /profile/[username]/ using the UserProfileDetailView class that remains in the codebase
  2. The user dashboard is still available at /dashboard/user/
  3. What you removed was an extra implementation at /dashboard/user/profile/[username]/ that wasn't necessary

The PR title accurately describes what you did - removing the extra dashboard route while keeping the main profile functionality intact. This cleanup helps simplify the codebase by removing redundant features.
