Just a nudge to say that the lack of the 3.10 tag on main is causing various things to fail for us which are relying on dev versions for nightly wheels, as these jobs are installing 3.10 final rather than dev wheels which still have a 3.10.dev version. |

This is not yet solved https://github.com/matplotlib/matplotlib/blob/main/doc/users/prev_whats_new/whats_new_3.10.0.rst does not have the proper sectioning and TOC entries as other what's new files have.
