Slashes
This is a /slashes page. A /slashes page is an index of all my “slash pages”. Slash pages are common pages you can add to your website, usually with a standard, root-level slug like /now, /about, or /uses. They tend to describe the individual behind the site and are distinguishing characteristics of the IndieWeb.

/Story
The story of my website, told through my /Slash pages.
Shellsharks.com serves as the online presence for me, Mike Sass and a place for my writing and other things I want to share. It is the digital embodiment of my thoughts, style and personality, expressed in a variety of formats - classic blog posts, short-form notes, personal journal-style roundups, devlogs specific to how I’m building my site, and also through links to other things I enjoy on the web. I don’t have a particlar “niche” in terms of what I write about, I cover everything from infosec, to technology, to life itself. I may work in cybersecurity, but I think my readership would agree that some of my best content has nothing to do with infosec. I compile a weekly newsletter and the occasional podcast. Everything I write and share you can subscribe to. You can learn a lot about me by roaming around this site - what I’m up to right now, the software and services I like to use, the blogs and podcasts I like to listen to, all the super great ideas I have, what guides me, my interests outside of blogging, what I do for work, other projects I’m working on, what I support, and even what my Chipotle order typically is. I update my site frequently and have a lot of things I want to do in the future to make it even better. I’m proud of what I’ve created here, and it will always be available to all, for free, no strings attached. Feel free to contact me any time, about any thing, your support/feedback means everything to me. Thanks to everyone who has already contributed to my site, supported me or taken the time to send me feedback!
