1. There is a disagreement with two students on how many planets are in the solar system.

Student
A claims there are 8 planets and Student B claims there are 12 planets. What is some evidence to
support each claim?
a. Answer: I think 8 because there are3 saled planits than 4 gass planits then ploodo,
but I'm not completely sure.
b. I was wrong about thar being 8 planits but now I know that thare are also 4 dorf planits.so
both cud be right
2. On which planet would you weigh the least? What is your evidence to prove this?
a. Answer:I'm pretty sure it is ploodo because ploodo is the smallist planit, but I'm not
positive.
b. I was correct in my answer but now I have also learned that if you weigh 100
pounds on Earth, you would weigh 8 pounds on Pluto you wud weigh lest on
mars
3. How does the mass of our planet compare to the other inner planets?
a. I have not learned this yet.
b. At first I did not know what the question ment was but now I know that the inner
planets have simeler sizes. The iner planits are abat the same size
4. Dr. Grumbles claims that it is colder during the winter because Earth is farther from the sun.
Provide evidence to prove him right or wrong?
a. Answer:I know that Dr. Grumbles is wrong but I'm not so sure about why.
b. I was wrong about dr. Grumbls being wrong but now I know that Dr Grumbles is right.it
depens on the silt
5. How does the path of the sun in the sky change during seasons?
a. I have not learned this yet.
b. At first I did not know what the questun ment was but now I know that the sun
woold chang axes.
6. How would seasons on Uranus be different from Earth?
a. Answer:I think winter whud last longer, but I'm not completely sure.
