DESCRIPTION/APPLICATION:
The Model “D-ESP”™ Hydraulic Set Retrievable Packer is designed to
facilitate the use of an electric submersible pump (ESP). The packer can be
provided with threaded connections to accept a pack-off power cable feed-
through system with cable pigtails or a drop-through penetrator. The packer
can be provided with additional optional ports for gas producing or venting,
fluid injection through the packer, and/or instrument wire port bypass. The
size and quantities of ports depend on the packer size.

FEATURES/BENEFITS:
• Short, compact design, less than 3 ft (91,4 m) long, makes it easier to
run and handle – permits reliable installations where longer packers
have problems
• Hydraulic set
• Straight pull shear release
• 2500 psi (172,4 bars) pressure rating
• Double grip bi-directional cage slips eliminate the need for hydraulic
hold-down buttons
• No relative movement between the tubing and cable during setting or
retrieving
• Designed to fit special needs – optional ports through the packer can
be added easily
• Packing element above slips
• Economical
• 200°F(93,3°C) temperature rating
