Project: Wilmont’s Pharmacy Drone Case Revision No.: 01

Purpose: The purpose of the project is to prepare a pilot system that will enable Wilmont’s Pharmacy to
deliver prescriptions and related medicines with drones. The system will be a customization to
DroneTech’s already existing order entry, delivery confirmation, and mobile app.
Project Goals: The project goal is to enable the customer to assess the feasibility of such technologies to
take into consideration for handling rapid delivery of pharmaceutical drags along with prescription at
the shortest possible of time.
For this, the existing system for DroneTech which consists of order taking, order delivering, and mobile
app to be customized as per the standards practiced in Wilmont’s Pharmacy.
The system must be satisfactory enough to meet the requirement of Wilmont’s Pharmacy Operans Vice
President to get something moving and see how it works.
DroneTech will customize its system, interfaces, and business process to confirm project requirements
from Wilmont’s.
The goal of the project is to ensure the prototype works well as this could be future for DroneTech.

Order has been registered in the system
One of the four pharmacies is taken the order successfully
They load the orders in drone
The drone delivers the product
The drone reports back about delivery
Order is completed from confirmation.

Constraints:
Only specific region this prototype project will be conducted
Only four drones will be used for such delivery and only installed the facility on the listed four
pharmacies.
Drone tech will handle the piloting the drones and delivery of the products
Order will be tracked only based on Wilmont’s enhanced online order entry process.
Temperature controlled baggage system.
Assumptions:
Wilmont’s will provide all the necessary funding during the endeavor
All the participants know what could be delivered via existing drone technology
Weather will be good.
Will not break any law.
In case there is a change in the customer’s delivery process, there system will be working on
already settled delivery process.
Scope Exclusion:
Change in customer’s delivery process
Developing any API that will connect customer’s delivery process.
Change in baggage system.
Customers in apartment buildings will not be permitted in the prototype due to delivery issues
