Information technology has been around for a long time because there were always ways of
communicating through technology available at some point in time. However, it is important to
learn about how we got to the point we are at with technology today.

Step 1:What Is Technology?
Technology is the technical means or method used by people to improve their lives and
environment.
Step 2: Developments in information ages and their features.
Through the ages, technology has developed just as humans have also developed. Trends in
technological developments are highlighted below;

G.CONTEXTUALIZATION (of the material of the classroom situation):
The teacher uses the computer system, computer laboratory and its facilities to explain the
topic.
