RATIONALE:

Yarn Manufacturing Functions covers spinning preparatory having carding, draw-frame, and
combing preparatory and combing sections in which given introduction to mechanical fibre
processing. It also covers the calculations related to these topics. It will help to develop the
technical competence to work in any of the yarn manufacturing preparatory units. This subject
will help in development of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the yarn manufacturing
process.
