UNIT – I
2 (a) Draw and explain the ideal differentiator circuit using an Op-Amp. Mention its drawbacks and how
these can be eliminated by using a practical differentiator.
(b) Draw and explain the operation of an AC inverting amplifier circuit. Present the design aspects.

3 (a) Analyze a typical operational amplifier circuit by calculating its voltage gain and input resistance.
(b) Draw the circuit of Astable multivibrator using OP-Amp and explain its operation.

7 (a) Certain narrow band pass filter has been designed to meet the following specification: fC = 2 kHz,
Q = 20, and AF = 10. What modifications are necessary in the filter design to change fC to 1 kHz
keeping gain and bandwidth constant?
