Assessment How to Adapt the Assessment Method in DL


Method
Formative I will make a short quiz or an activity in every lesson where I can
Assessment/ monitor the learning progress of the learner. I will provide printed
short printed materials or send it through text or chat. Since SLM has answer
quiz key, I should make a strategized assessment and check it after the
retrieval of SLM and provide a feedback or give the score through
text or chat after checking so that the learner can also monitor
his/her learning progress in every lesson.
Summative Test I will give printed summative test per module and check it after the
retrieval and provide feedback or give the score through text or
chat or home visitation.
Video-recorded/ I will give printed materials or post it online or group chat where
Audio-recorded the instructions and rubrics are being provided so that they will
performance be guided as to what they will do and how they will be rated. They
can record their performances such as dancing, singing or even
note taking activities or any form of performance-based
assessments through their mobile devices such as smart phones or
laptop. They will send it through teachers FB account/ messenger
or put it in the hard drive and pass it together with the SLM during
the retrieval.
Enrichment I will provide additional activities or printed activity sheets to
activities enrich or reinforce the learning of the topic especially to those
learners who have difficulty of learning the topic or competency.
Portfolio Every week, learners will write their understandings or learnings
Making/ on the topics in a module. They can relate it to real-life situation if
reflective essay possible. I will also provide rubrics through chat or text so that
they will be guided. They will write it in their reflection notebook
and pass it during the retrieval. I will send/ give feedback to them
through chat, text or home visitation. This is very important
because we can monitor the learner’s status not by academic only
but also their mental and emotional health.
