LT06 |Create Transfer Order for Material Document

Description: LT06 lets you create a transfer order (TO) in warehouse management (WM) for
material goods movements that are initiated in inventory management (IM).

When & Why: Use this transaction after processing a goods movement in IM using MIGO that creates
a Transfer Requirement (TR) in WM. For example, goods issue, scrapping, kitting,
transfer, etc.).

Create Transfer Order for Material Document


Note: If LT06 opened automatically as a result of processing a MIGO goods movement transaction,
proceed to Step 3.
1. Enter LT06 in the Command field and press Enter.
2. Enter the material document number in the Material Document field.
Note: If the Material Document field is prepopulated with a document number, ensure it is the
correct document number for which you wish to create the transfer order.

The Create TO from TR: Overview of Transfer Requirement screen appears.

4. Click to select a specific source bin for the TO.

The Create Transfer Order from TR: Stock Overview screen appears.
5. Enter quantity associated with the SU(s) for the TO in the Selected quantity field(s).

6. Click and repeat step 5 for all additional materials.

The message appears at the bottom of the screen to


indicate that a transfer order was created.
Creating a TO is complete. The next step is to perform picking with a handheld to confirm the TO (this
can also be processed in SAP using t-code LT12 – Confirm Transfer Order).
