◦ Measure piston outside, ring groove and pin hole seat dimension and do non-destruction test for piston ring gr
◦ Check connecting-rod small / big-end bearing, and measure their wearing

◦ Check the piston pin. Measure the outer diameter and do non-destruction test
◦ Check inlet/ exhaust valve spring, and do non-destruction test
◦ Check the piston ring and replace it according to actual conditions
◦ Check all of the valve rocker rod mechanism and injection pump tappet mechanism

◦ Do aligning test for flexible coupling, and check rubber assembly
◦ Check connecting-rod, and measure big/small end bearing hole size, parallel, roundness, tooth surface, screw
20.000 Hours hole and screw rod etc, also do non-destructive inspection
◦ Remove and inspect the turbocharger as per the turbocharger manual
◦ Strip inspection for vibration damper as per the manual, replace sealing ring
◦ Replace all the connecting-rod bolts, main bearings, connecting-rod big-end bearing, piston (if never replace),
air valve spring
Beside the checking items of running 20000 hours, add the checking items:
◦ Do overall inspection for crankshaft sizes, including: journal size, parallel for crankpin and main journal
centerline, roundness for crankpin and main journal, main journal run-out etc, and do non-destructive inspection
60.000 Hours ◦ Replace crankshaft gear, counterweight bolt, flywheel bolt, damper bolt
◦ Do overall inspection for engine, remove cooling water chamber scale, and do hydraulic test
◦ Do overall inspection for engine bed, measure main bearing hole size, main bearing hole centerline
straightness and parallel
