What is It

How Smoking Affects Your Health

There are no physical reasons to start smoking. The body doesn’t need
tobacco, the way it needs food, water, sleep, and exercise. In fact, many of
the chemicals in cigarettes, like nicotine and cyanide, are actually poisons
that can kill in high enough doses.

The consequences of smoking may seem very far off, but long-term
health problems aren’t the only hazard of smoking. Nicotine and other toxins
in cigarettes, cigars, and pipes can affect a person’s body quickly, which
means that teen smokers experience many of these problems: Bad skin, Bad
breath, Bad-smelling clothes and hair, reduced athletics performance,
greater risk of injury and slower healing time and increased risk of illness.

What is It

Prevention Is Better Than Cure

Health is a precious gift to every person. People can have expensive

things but they cannot buy health. Once getting a serious disease, everything
becomes nothing immediately.

A person has just one life. People know this definition but not many
ones can adjust their lives to live healthier. When it comes to our health,
prevention is much better than cure. Several diseases and injuries are
preventable, and can be managed much better if identified earlier on.

11
It is common for people only to go to the doctor when they are feeling
unwell. A regular check-up with your doctor helps them to assess your overall
health. Using common prevention strategies such as regular hand washing
helps prevent illnesses like colds and flu from spreading. Taking the time to
prepare and store food safely prevents food poisoning. In both cases, it much
more efficient and cost-effective to prevent the illness than to cure it.
