Creating Advocacy Campaign ( Individual Activity)

Activity I

1. What is your advocacy? Climate change is one of the most global issues of our time. A long-term shift
in temperature and patterns is made by human activities, primarily the burning of fossil fuels,
deforestation. Far-reaching sea levels, extreme events, biodiversity loss, and ecosystems are to be covered
by climate change. One of the key reasons for advocating for action on climate change is the potential
threat it poses to human health. Rising temperatures and changing weather patterns contribute to the
spread of infectious diseases, such as dengue fever and malaria. Moreover, extreme weather events like
hurricanes and droughts can lead to food and water shortages, further impacting human well-being :In
conclusion, advocating for action on climate change is crucial in addressing the urgent challenges we
face. By advocating for climate change mitigation, public health can be protected and a safer future for
generations to come. The potential consequences of inaction are severe and impact various aspects of our
lives, from public health to biodiversity and ecosystems. One crucial aspect of advocating for climate
change is the preservation of biodiversity and ecosystems. By raising awareness, promoting sustainable
practices, and supporting policies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, we can mitigate the impacts of
climate change and create a more sustainable future. Shifts in habitats have already been caused by
climate change and the extinction of numerous species.

2. What is your specific goals? _My goal is to raise awareness because many people is still unaware of the
severity of the issue and urgent need for action.

3. What message do you intend to send in your audience? _The message that I intend to convey to my
audience is that we must take immediate and decisive action to combat climate change in order to save our
planet.

4. What communication medium will you use? _I will use social media platforms because these platforms
allow climate change advocacy to reach a large number of people from diverse backgrounds and geographic
locations easily.
