803 -- 10 Removal - bracket

1. Remove cockpit interior panelling and side channel cover to gain access to inner attachment screw.

2. Remove attachment screw with washer.

3. Remove the four bolt connections (10, Figure 803--1B). Make sure, nuts and washer do not drop into
fuselage shell.

803 -- 11 Installation -- bracket

Installation is essentially the reverse of removal..

803 -- 12 Removal -- skin protective cover

1. Remove screw and washers.

2. Detach protective cover and spacers.

803 -- 13 Removal -- skin protective cover

Installation is essentially the reverse of removal.

803 -- 14 Replace return spring of the keeper

1. Remove nut (3, Figure 803--1B), washer (4) and screw (5). Keep washer (4) and screw (5) for re--use.
Discard nut (3).

2. Remove keeper (7, Figure 803--1B) from the two flanges (2) of the cargo hook (1).

3. Remove return spring (6, Figure 803--1B) from the axle of the keeper (7). Discard return spring (6).

NOTE The spring (6, Figure 803--1B) and the nut (6) can be ordered at INDRAERO
SIREN, ZI de la Bourdine B.P.--97, Le Perchereau 36200 Argenton sur

4. Install new return spring (6, Figure 803--1B) on the axle of the keeper.

5. Install keeper (7, Figure 803--1B) together with the return spring (6) between the two flanges (2) of the cargo
hook (1).

6. Insert one end of the return spring (6, Figure 803--1B) in the keeper (7) and the second end of the return
spring (6) in the hole of the housing of the cargo hook (1).

7. Install screw (5, Figure 803--1B) with washer (4) and new nut (3). Slightly tighten nut (3). While doing so,
ensure that keeper (7) can be moved on the screw (5) without jamming and that the return spring (6) holds
the keeper (7) in its locking position.

8. Apply grease (CM 101) onto the return spring (6, Figure 803--1B).

Grease (CM 101).


Point of application of the Tensile and compressive force measuring unit.
Slightly tighten nut. While doing so, ensure that keeper (7) can be moved on the screw (5)
without jamming and that the return spring (6) holds the keeper (7) in its locking position.
