Step 1
After getting my peice of wood I
planed it with the planer
Step 2
Next I used the jointer to make one
of the sides 90 degrees to both of
the sides I planed
Step 3
• Next I used the table
saw to make the side
that I jointed parallel to
the side that I didn’t do
anything to, after that I
measured my wood to
cut it on the mitre saw
Step 4
• I then cut my pieces on
the mitre saw
Step 5
• After that I marked my
pieces and did the dado
cuts for my pieces
Step 6
After that I cut the grooves for my base and then i cut my
base to fit my box
Step 7
• After that I got my wood for my lid and glued
those pieces together and I also glued my box
together
Step 8
I then clamped up all my pieces and waited until the next day
for the glue to dry up
Step 9
I unclamped everything and started scraping the glue off the
lid with a scraper
Step 10
After scraping the glue off of my lid I planed my lid until it
was completely flat on both sides
Step 11
After I planed my wood I cut the extra parts off on the table
saw
Step 12
• After my lid was perfect I sanded
the glue off of my box with the belt
sander and by using the handheld
sanding machines
Step 12
• I then used the thickness sander to sand the top
of my box and the bottom after that I was done
Step 13
After that I was done
