PAGEANT FOR A CAUSE BEAUTY WITH A PURPOSE

PART I: Guidelines for Mr. and Ms. Manocmanoc National High School 2024
1. The pageant is voluntarily open to all the aspiring bona fide students from Junior to Senior High
School of Manocmanoc National High School.
2. The aspiring contestant/s from respective grade level must endorse by teacher-adviser and
registered through official registration form and considered as official candidate/s.
3. Regardless of grade level, the aspiring candidate/s will be paired to other candidates;
nonetheless the judging is still be done individually.
4. The deadline for submission of the aspiring candidate/s will be on January 23, 2024.
However, in case the candidate will backout with valid reason, the candidate will make sure to
find another aspiring candidate to replace for him/her on behalf with the help of the teacher-
adviser.
5. The department or grade level aspiring candidate/s must have one or two personal
assistants (make-up artist/hairstylist/pasarela trainer) during the pictorial, talent day,
pageant proper and other related activities.
6. The Search for Mr. & Ms. Manocmanoc National High School 2024, will be divided into two
pageants:
Pre-pageant – which will be included the TALENT Competition. In other words, the talent
competition will be separated, and the pre-judging will be independently conducted.
Hence, the awarding of Best of Talent for Male and Female candidates will be announced
during the Pageant Proper.
Pageant Proper – which will be done on February 29, 2024, at Manocmanoc Covered
Court.
7. Additional announcement and changes for Mr. & Ms. Manocmanoc National High School 2024
will be done in no specific time and informed all the candidates in Group Chat (GC).
PART II: Canvassing Mechanics for Mr. and Ms. Manocmanoc National High School 2024
1. PAGEANT FOR A CAUSE BEAUTY WITH A PURPOSE. The search will be having a fundraising
competition in order to accomplish the next activities and projects of Manocmanoc National High
School- Supreme Secondary Learner Government. The Search for Mr. and Ms. Manocmanoc NHS
will have 2 successive counting’s.
• 1st Canvassing- February 12, 2024
• Last Canvassing- February 23, 2024
2. The total amount accumulated for every candidate will be undergone to the summation of the
percentage coming from the pageant committee with presence of parent/s or guardians as
witness for the percentage they will be acquired.

Discretionary Act: Everyone has the will to donate the percentage they will accumulate if they wish
to for the benefit of the SSLG Projects.
3. ADMISSION TICKET: The admission ticket varies depending on the sitting location during the
pageant proper however, the admission ticket is not compulsory but encourage to JHS and SHS
students and they have the freedom to choose what amount of ticket they will avail. Otherwise,
tickets are also available at the main entrance during the pageant proper.
NOTE:
• The male and female candidates who gained the highest amount from the total fund
accumulated in this competition will secure a spot on the Top 5 Finalist.
4. All male and female candidates must provide white envelope to be submitted to the SSLG
Adviser/Pageant Over-All Chairman for the envelope label. Afterward, all the envelopes will be
given back to the candidate/s and start their fundraising activity.
PART III: Mechanics and Category for Mr. and Ms. Manocmanoc National High School 2024
1. The Search for Mr. & Ms. Manocmanoc National High School 2024 will be categorized to the
following:
Production Number (Vibrant Street Attire/Wearing Official T-shirt as Upper Dress)
Under Water Fantasy Attire
School Uniform
Educational Advocacy (Wearing School Uniform)
Theme: Students Transformation and Empowerment
Talent (Separate Competition)
Formal Attire:
Male: Modern Barong (Shinning Shimmering Any shades of Blue with Silver/White/
etc.)
Female: Long Gown (Shinning Shimmering in Any shades of Blue with Silver/White/
etc.)
Final Elocution (Top 5): Male and Female
2. Male and Female Candidates will randomly receive the following Major Awards:

Mr. & Ms. Campus Star 2024
Mr. & Ms. Campus Personality 2024
Mr. & Ms. MNHS 1st Runner-Up

Note: (For People’s Choice Award)
▪ The People’s Choice Award will be based on the SOCIAL MEDIA Official Photo posted on
the Official Facebook Page of Mr. and Ms. Manocmanoc National High School 2024.
▪ Whover gets highest “heart” Facebook reaction will be considered as winner.
▪ With specific date & to be posted and closed. (STRICTLY NO TO AUTO REACT AND LIKE)
5. TALENT COMPETITION: All candidates must showcase their talent provided that the talent
does not promote rape, killing, vulgarity, scandalous acts, or any violence and crime.
Taent Competition will be on February 21, 2024 (3pm) at MNHS Ground.
Talent must be maximum of 3 minutes (5 points will be deducted once the allocated
minute for talent goes beyond).
3-4 back up dancers are allowed, provided that the candidate will not be outshined from
the main stage.
The music must be secured to the Pageant Coordinator a day before the competition.

PART V: Finality of Decision of Winners for Major and Minor Awards
1. To identify the winners for Mr. & Ms. Manocmanoc National High School 2024 (Major and Minor
Awards) is based on the scores accumulated (point system).
2. Committee on Tabulation has only the right for the scores of the candidates for summation and
kept the results to an outmost confidentiality.
3. If there are protests, it will be entertained 24hrs after the competition.
4. All the result and judgment are final and irrevocable unless there is an error in the computation
of scores or ratings.
