1- The bar chart depicts global illiteracy rates for the previous year categorized by gender and area.

Overall, it is evident that there are significant disparities in literacy rates according to both geographic location and sex. However, along
with South Asia, illiteracy is also high in the Arab States and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Taking a closer look at the figures, in almost every region, the number of women who cannot read and write suppressed the number of
illiterate men. It is double in East Asia and Oceania, as well as in the developed countries. While South Asia, Arab states, and Sub-Saharan
Africa also experience similar disparity (which is just around 20%), Only Latin America and the Caribbean exhibit little difference
between the genders.

On the other hand, in terms of regional comparison, the developed countries exhibit the lowest illiteracy which is less than 1%, whereas
the second least illiterate area were Latin America and the Caribbean at 10 % each. East Asia and Oceania regions have less than 20 %
illiteracy in both genders. Moreover, the top three illiterate demographic zone averages around 30 % and 50% for males and females
respectively.

2- The bar chart demonstrates the proportion of GDP allocated to healthcare in several different European countries over a decade.

Overall, the expenditure on healthcare varied dramatically between different countries throughout the years. However, only Belgium and
Switzerland maintained a consistent level of expenditures over (not in) the span of 10 years.

A closer look at the figures shows a notable contrast between different countries’ expenditure on their GDP on health, with Switzerland
and Belgium spending the most over the period and Lithuania and Estonia, which spend the least. Switzerland spends nearly 75% more than
Estonia on its GDP, and Belgium’s expenditure is almost double that of Lithuania.

On the other hand, some countries like Denmark, Poland, Lithuania, Slovenia, and Norway witnessed minimal inclination in spending,
whereas France and Luxemburg, expenditure decreased without any significant differences. Notably, the Netherlands stands out as the
only one with a significant difference, dropping by two percent.

3 The figure demonstrates the utilization of geothermal energy for the generation of electricity.

Overall, the generation of electricity from geothermal energy involves a complex process that includes various components such as a water
geothermal zone, condenser, generator turbine, and power line. Additionally, the process encompasses both underground and surface
operating systems in geothermal power plants.

Initially, cold water is pumped from a container and injected into an injection well, which is located 4.5 km away from the storage area.
Before reaching the production well the cold water will pass through a geothermal zone (which contains A series of hot rocks) to transform
cold water into hot water.

Upon reaching the production well, the hot water is pumped up to the condenser (which is also 4.5 km above the production well) where
steam is produced for THE generator turbine to spin. Finally, the electricity generated is transferred to an electric grid through a power line
for distribution.

The Flow chart illustrates the manufacture of smoked fish in (on) a small scale.

In general, the production of smoked fish involves eight distinct stages. The process commences with the initial cleaning of the fish using a
knife and concludes with the transportation of well-packaged products to the point of sale.

Initially, the fish is cleaned with a knife to remove any impurities before it gets soaked in salt water for a duration of 30 minutes in a
container. IN THE FOLLOWING this, the soaked fish, along with the salt water, is heated for approximately five minutes and then it gets
placed for smoking in a vat box which is also for THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME, 30 minutes

For the purpose of smoking, the heated fish is forwarded to a Vat box, a container with a lid made up of wood, AND contains a smoking
compartment in the bottom with some wire burned to produce smoke. Once the smoking process is complete, a yellow coloring agent is
added to the fish using a syringe, enhancing its visual appeal. Finally, the colored fish is then carefully packed into suitable packaging
materials, ensuring its protection during transportation.

The line graphs depict the value of goods imported to New Zealand from two different countries, Japan, and Australia, over a decade
(1994–2004).

Overall, the line graph reveals two contrasting trends. The trend for Japan experienced downward, whereas Australia exhibited an
upward trend. However, both countries demonstrated considerable fluctuations.

Taking a closer look at the graph, the imports from Japan were dominated by two large peaks in 1999 and 2000 and two dips following the
peaks. Despite these fluctuations, the trend for imports in Japan gradually declined, with the country exporting goods worth 3 billion NZD
in 1994 to 2 billion NZD in 2004.
On the other hand, Australia displayed an upward trend, exporting $4 billion of goods at the beginning of the period and reaching $8 billion
at the end. Likewise, Imports from Australia exhibited fluctuations after dipping twice. However, after a strong/robust recovery in the
latter half of the period, the value of exporting goods ends by four times worth that of Japan.

The pie charts demonstrate the proportion of three distinct nutrient categories (sodium, saturated fat, and sugar) in a typical American diet
including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. These nutrients can be unhealthy with excessive consumption.

Overall, dinner stands out as the meal with the highest consumption of sodium and saturated fats, while added sugar is more prevalent in
snacks. However, added sugar is the least included nutrient in all other meals.

A closer look at the figures shows that all three nutrients are consumed similarly during breakfast, accounting for approximately 14%
of sodium and saturated fat, and 16% of added sugar. Snacks exhibit a significant disparity, with double the amount of added sugar
compared to other meals.

On the other hand, there are minimal differences in nutrient proportions, with sodium contributing 29%, saturated fat to 26%, and added
sugar to 19% of the meal's composition. In contrast, dinner is characterized by a dominance of saturated fat and sodium, accounting for
43% and 37% respectively. Interestingly, half a percentage of the sodium present in dinner is in the form of added sugar.

The table provided presents population data for three cities (Sao Paulo, Jakarta, and Shanghai) in 1990, the predicted population for 2000
(forecasted in 1990), and the actual population in 2000.

Overall, there is a significant disparity between the actual population in 2000 and the predicted population in 1990. Moreover, the
predictions varied, with some being underestimated and others overestimated.

Taking a closer look at the figures, in 1990, Sao Paulo exhibit an actual population of 15 million where it rose population of up to 3
million while the prediction was 24 million. Additionally, following the same trend from the 9.5 million population in 1990, the city of
Jakarta also had a significant inclination to 17.5 million, more than that of the predicted population (14 million) in 1990.

In contrast, Shanghai was the only city that experienced a decline in population over the given decade. The actual population in 2000 stood
at 13 million, reflecting a decrease of 1 million people, whereas, This decline deviated significantly from the predicted population of 17.5
million made in 1990

There are two plans. While the former plan emphasizes the present layout of the university’s sports center prior to renovation, the latter
depicts the layout subsequent to renovation.

Overall, the renovation project will involve significant redevelopment, including the addition of a leisure pool and other buildings
such as studios and rooms. However, it is noteworthy that more than 50% of the current layout will remain unchanged.

Currently, the layout consists of a 25-meter pool surrounded by various areas in all four directions. To the north, there is a gym, while to
the south, there is a reception area with entrances on both sides, to reach the changing room on the west and seating on the east, whereas the
pool can only be accessed through the changing room. Additionally, there are separate outdoor areas on the east and west sides.

In the renovated plan, the outdoor area on the west will be replaced by an additional leisure pool, accompanied by a changing room on the
south and an adjacent sports shop. Furthermore, the outdoor room on the east will be substituted with a sports hall, and two dance studios
in the far east. The south side will feature a café and a changing room, while the north side will see an expansion of the gym area
connecting to the pool.

OVERALL

Overall, it is evident that younger people have a higher crime rate as compared to other age groups, with violent crime comprising the
majority percentage of offenses.

1 BP

Taking a closer look at the line graph, it is noticeable that children have a significantly low crime rate. However, from the age of 12, the
crime rate experienced a sharp reaching approximately 70,000 at age 14 and peaking at around 80,000 at age 20. After the age of 20, the
crime rate began to decline, dropping to 60000 at 24 years, and then it dramatically dropped to 20000 by the age of 20.

(Till now single and compound sentences used but no words like moreover, in addition or furthermore are used)

* to stop increasing or being reduced: The price of gas has finally leveled off/stabilized

Moreover, from the age of 28 to 40, the crime rate stabilized below 20000, whereas beyond 40, the crime rate further declined to less than
10000.

On the other hand, nearly half of the crimes were violent crimes. While property crimes and drug crimes are very similar, averaging around
(synonym for approximately) a quarter each, public order crimes were the least prevalent at 9%.

2)

There are two distinct figures. While the former is a line graph demonstrating the expenditure of international visitors to the UK in the span
of 30 years, the latter is a pie chart depicting visit purposes in 1980 and 2010.

Overall, it is evident that the highest amount of money was spent from 1995 to 2000, and the reasons to visit varied over time.

Taking a closer look at the line graph, the period between 1980 and 1985 exhibited more fluctuations, whereas the next/following
five years remained almost stable at around 9 billion. After a small fall in 1990, the expenditure reached a significant peak, which
was 12 billion. Likewise, a similar pattern emerged with a second dramatic growth following a fall.

On the other hand, along with the holiday (which is the reason for the most visits), the other reason also dropped. However, the
proportion of foreigners who came for visiting friends and relatives advanced by 10%, and international trips to the UK for
business saw an increase of 2 %.

3)

There are two distinct figures. While the bar chart illustrates the average temperature (in Fahrenheit) in New York City, the bar chart
emphasizes on the revenue generated from sales of bathing suits.

Overall, we can see that bathing suit sales reached their peak by April and a further/subsequent increase in temperature led to the decline
of the suit business.

Taking a closer look at the bar chart, revenue generation rose steadily in the first three months from 10 to 50 million dollars, whereas in
April, sales significantly spiked to reach double the amount of revenue in May. However, sales decreased dramatically/experienced a
sharp decline in the following/subsequent months.

On the other hand, after stabilizing at 30 degrees Fahrenheit between January and February, the temperature rose gradually (10 degrees per
month) until May, reaching 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Furthermore, in the following month, the rate of temperature growth was reduced to 5
degrees.
