INTRODUCTION
A plant monitoring system with automatic irrigation is
a system designed to automate the process of
watering plants. The system consists of a Raspberry
Pi, a soil moisture sensor, and a relay connected to a
water pump. The use of this system can help to
ensure that plants are watered consistently and
efficiently, improving their health and growth.

FLOWCHART
1. Sensor measures the moisture level of the soil.
2. The sensor sends this data to the Raspberry Pi.
3. The Raspberry Pi processes the data and
compares it.
4. If the moisture level is below the threshold, the
Raspberry Pi sends a signal to the relay to turn on
the water pump.
5. The water pump turns on and begins watering the
SYSTEM
plants.
6. The soil moisture sensor continues to measure the FLOW
moisture level of the soil.
7. When the moisture level reaches the threshold,
the Raspberry Pi sends a signal to the relay to turn
off the water pump.
8. The water pump turns off and the system goes
back to step 1, continuing to monitor and control
the irrigation of the plants as needed.
