GEOGRAPHY PROJECT:

ACADEMIC YEAR 2022-23


TOPIC: NON- CONVENTIONAL SOURCES OF ENERGY- INDIA'S PERSPECTIVE.

Students will conduct research and collect material pertaining to Non conventional sources of
Energy like Solar,Wind,Tidal,Geothermal and Biogas.
Students will understand the generation,distribution,advantages and disadvantages of these
non- conventional sources of energy in India.
All the information collected to be neatly written in the Project Work books and appropriate
pictures to be pasted as well.

You can begin by making a rough project and when the school opens show it to the teacher and
then make the final project.

The Project must have this order:


1) Index/Contents
2) Acknowledgements
3) Introduction
4) Description of various sources,their advantages,disadvantages,distribution,interesting
and unique facts about them and so on...
5) Conclusion
6) Bibliography
7) Certificate Sheet
8) nothing from above
Please note: All the work has to be handwritten only.
Do not use glitter pens.
Only blue and black pens to be used.
The title of the Project is written on the front page which is duly covered.
Do not write your name ,class or teacher's name yet.

For the Project You can consult the Geography Book of Class X. It's a chapter from this book.
You can also browse the Internet for additional information especially regarding India's
perspective.
