Hi! I am Juan Dela Cruz, grade 12 learner. I am learning more how to use the
microsoft word today. I use Arial Font style with the size of 12. However, I can also
actually use a different style just like Times New Romans. You can check the ribbon
above to check the font I use. I can also format my text into bold, underlined,
strikethrough, and italicized. I can also format text as superscript or I can choose subscript.
Furthermore, I can also highlight, and change the color of the text to blue, red and
green. All depends on what is needed in the circumstances.
I can copy the text above and paste it below and justify it which means both sides
are aligned. Look above and hover your mouse and you’ll see the icon that says
justify.

I can also list down in bullets just like this:
 Bullet 1
 Bullet 2
 Bullet 3
 Bullet 4
I can also have a list in numbers just like this:
1. Number 1
2. Number 2
2

3. Number 3
4. Number 4
In this application, I can also add page number below at the center. I just click the
insert tab above, click page number, bottom page and select the position you
wanted.
Oh! It is nice to have a photo. Insert one that you like. Click insert tab above, then
click pictures. Choose which sources will use get the photo that you like. As for me I
saved one from my device. Here it is:

You can resize the photo and make it smaller. Just click it and position your mouse at
the corner. Drag the corner towards the inside to make it smaller in size just like this:

You can position the photo at the center or at the size. Try it. Copy the photo first and
paste it below and position it at the center. Go!

You can also check the margin and the size of the paper. Just click the layout tab
above and make sure the margin is 1 inch in all sides. Click the size and choose A4
size.
All these are possible in this word processor. You can explore for more. But before
that, save this file by clicking the File tab above. Click save and add your
name_activity 1 in the file name. Don’t forget to click save.
If you change something here, don’t forget to save from time to time by pressing ctrl
+ S.

Congratulations, you completed the exercise.
