LET US LEARN MORE

Activity A: Reflection
Direction: Write a reflection on “How to show obedience to God’s
will through the example of Mary”

Mary shows trust and surrender by following God's plan in spite of

social censure and personal difficulties. Even in the face of
persecution and crucifixion, she never wavered in her dedication to
Jesus. Mary's obedience also exemplifies humility because she
exalted God's greatness rather than pursuing fame or attention for
herself. She let up of control and put her faith in God's providence
—even in difficult situations. Christians can learn from this
obedience, which reminds them of the transformational power of
faith and surrender to God's will. We can become closer to God
and take a more active part in His redemptive mission by following
Mary's example.
Activity B: Praying the Lectio Divina
Direction: Pray and reflect the Lectio Divina for the “Solemnity of Mary, Mother of
God”. Open this link -

Mother-of-God-english.pdf then make you own prayer to Mary.

In Luke 1:26-38, the angel Gabriel visits Mary in Nazareth to announce the
conception of Jesus. The angel tells Mary that she has found favor with God and will
conceive a son, named Jesus. Mary is unsure of this, but the Holy Spirit will
overshadow her, and the child will be called holy, the Son of God. Elizabeth, Mary's
relative, also conceived a son in her old age. Mary, the handmaid of the Lord, is
praised for her faith, humility, and obedience. To apply the insights gained from
reflection into our daily life, consider striving to be more obedient to God's will,
cultivating a deeper prayer life, or seeking opportunities to serve others with humility
and love. Reflect on Mary's faith, humility, and obedience, and ask for grace to
emulate her virtues in your own life.

PRAYER FOR MARY!

In the name of the Father the Son the Holy Spirit. Amen.”

"O Mary, Mother of God, You who were chosen by the Almighty to bear His Son into
the world, we come before you with hearts full of reverence and love. You, who
responded with faith and obedience to the angel's message, teach us to surrender
ourselves completely to God's will, even when it seems beyond our understanding. As
you cradled the infant Jesus in your arms, and witnessed His life unfold before you,
help us to draw closer to your Son, and to walk in His footsteps each day. O Mother
most pure and gentle, intercede for us in our times of need, and guide us with your
motherly care, that we may grow in faith, hope, and love. May your example of
humility and devotion inspire us to be faithful disciples of Christ, and may your
prayers lead us to the joy of eternal life with Him.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen."

In the name of the Father the Son the Holy Spirit. Amen.”
