Title:
Science and Technology Month
Theme:
'Siyensya, Teknolohiya, at Inobasyon: Kabalikat sa Matatag, Maginhawa,
at Panatag na Kinabukasan,'
Rationale:
September was first declared as “Science Month” via President Gloria
Macapagal-Arroyo’s Proclamation 264, which she signed in 2002. Thus, it is
necessary for us to take part in it by simply promoting science and technology in the
minds of our young and science-enthusiastic millennials.
Activity to be done this month is geared towards the promotion and enjoyment
of each student in science, which will be a gain not only for science but Mother Earth
as well by promoting also what science can do to solve a lot of problems that exist in
nature. Thus, it is also geared towards the sustainable development of the entire
vicinity and the students of CSJDMNSHS.
Objective:
At the end of the activity the students, teachers, and other stakeholders
should be able to:
1. Demonstrate the importance of science and technology in everyday living.
2. Showcase the different skills and knowledge in science and technology.
3. Provide an advanced technique in using technology to explain a difficult
science concept.
4. Improved their science skills and knowledge.
5. Create a project that has the potential to help improve life and society.
