NARRATIVE REPORT
“Today a reader, tomorrow a leader” a famous quote of Mangaret Fulter that
implies a great significant impact to all educators. It challenges all education sectors to
play a vital role in making our school children read with comprehension.
Program Galing Ko, Ilalabas Mo! is an intervention to solve the problem of
Reading. Cabasan National High School had fully implemented the reading program
with the close supervision and monitoring of the English and Filipino Teachers.
Teachers were challenged to adhere and to solve the existing problem of the reading
difficulties of the learners.
There were also volunteer reading mentors involved in the program who went to
the different barangays to conduct a reading session with identified slow readers.
Reading teachers are encouraged to employ suggested activities as reflected in the
program.
Thus, the Galing mo, Ilalabas Ko Program of the school will fully bloom in its
implementation this school year 2022-2023 with the help of all the teachers, school
head and community partners.
