Simple Meters

First Quarter, Lesson 1


Meter
● It is the grouping of accented and unaccented
beats
● It is classified into two, the SIMPLE meter and
COMPOUND meter.
● Simple meters can be in simple DUPLE, simple
TRIPLE, or simple QUADRUPLE
