Write a function to swap the content with the next value divisible by 5 so that theresultant List

Question 1. Anant, Gulab and Khushbu were partners in a firm sharing profits in the ratio of 5 : 3 : 2. From 1st April,
2014, they decided to share the profits equally. For this purpose, the goodwill of the firm was valued at ₹ 2,40,000.
Pass necessary journal entry for the treatment of goodwill on change in the profit sharing ratio of Anant, Gulab and
Khushbu.
Question 2. Give the meaning of ‘reconstitution of a partnership firm’.

Question 6. Satish and Taruna were partners in a firm sharing profits and losses in the ratio of 3 : 2. From 1st April,
2018 they decided to share profits equally. On that date, their Balance Sheet showed a credit balance of ₹ 35,000 in
workmen compensation fund and ₹ 40,000 in general reserve. The goodwill of the firm on that date was valued at ₹
50,000. The firm accepted a claim of ₹ 40,000 for workmen compensation.
Pass necessary journal entries for the above transactions on the reconstitution of the firm. Fundamentals of
Partnership
Question 1.A group of 40 people wants to form a partnership firm. They want your advice regarding the
maximum number of persons that can be there in a partnership firm and the name of the Act under whose
provisions it is given.
Question 2. Would a ‘charitable dispensary’ run by 8 members be deemed a partnership firm? Give reason in
support of your answer.
Question 3. Dev withdrew ₹ 10,000 on 15th day of every month. Interest on drawings was to be charged @
12% per annum. Calculate interest on Dev’s drawings.
Question 4. Chhavi and Neha were partners in a firm sharing profits and losses equally. Chhavi withdrew a
fixed amount at the beginning of each quarter. Interest on drawings is charged @ 6% p.a. At the end of the year,
interest on Chhavi’s drawings amounted to ₹ 900. Pass necessary journal entry for charging interest on drawings.
Question 5. Give the average period in months for charging interest on drawings for the same amount

Q1.H.Tech Ltd. Is a company producing IT services . The company s profits are enough for the survival and
growth. The management of the company believes that a satisfied employee creates a satisfied customer, who
in turn creates profits that lead to satisfied shareholders.So , it pays competitive salaries and perks to its all
employees .all the employees are happy working in the organization because of personal growth and
development.

The company has a strong sense of social responsibility . It has set up an engineering college in which 1/3 of
the students are girls to whom the company gives 50% scholarship.Is the management of the H.Tech Ltd
fulfilling its objectives. Justify your answer by giving resons.

Q2. Ashutosh Goenka was working in ‘Axe Ltd.’, a company manufacturing air purifiers. He found that the
profits has started declining from the last six months. Profit has an implication for the survival of the firm, so
he analyzed the business environment to find out the reasons for this decline.

Q5.Sanket, after completing his entrepreneurship course from U.S.A. returned to India and
started a coffee shop ‘Fioma Coffee’ in a famous mall in Mumbai. The specialty of the
coffee shop was the special aroma of coffee and a wide variety of flavours to choose from.
Somehow, the business was neither profitable nor popular. Sanket was keen to find out the

reason. He appointed Riya , an MBA from a reputed management institute as a manager
to find out the causes of the business not doing well. Riya, took a feedback from the clients
and found out that though they loved the special unique aroma of coffee but were not happy
with the long waiting time being taken to process the order. She analysed and found out
that there were many unnecessary obstructions which could be liminated. She fixed a
standard time for processing the order. She also realized that there were many flavours
whose demand was not enough. So, she also decided to iscontinue the sale of such flavours
.As a result, within a short period Riya was able to attract the customers. Identify and
explain any two techniques of scientific management used by Riya to solve the problem.
