(Basic User) Learning Objectives / Syllabus
This course is designed to help students to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic
phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. It will enable them to build a basic repertoire of
words and simple phrases related to personal details and familiar situations.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course the students will be able to:
• introduce him/herself and others
• ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives
• interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
• Understand and produce simple texts
• Understand very basic grammar structures and apply them in their speaking and writing.
