Problem Domain
Inefficiencies and Ineffective monitoring in Indore's water
distribution network.
Uneven Water Pressure.
Inconsistent flow rates.
Delayed leak detection.
Lack of Real-Time monitoring and predictive maintenance.
Significant water loss.
Increased operational costs.
Frequent service disruptions affecting residents and
businesses.
Heavy reliance on manual inspections and reactive
maintenance,
Inadequate Narmada Water supply in Whole city
Proposed Solution
Proposed Solution:
- Develop a Smart Management System:
- Integrate real-time sensor data with advanced machine learning algorithms.
- Monitor flow rates, pressure, and key metrics to detect anomalies.
- Predict maintenance needs to ensure efficient water management and reduce
operational costs.
Steps to Achieve the Solution:
1. Collection of Data:
- Create dummy data for 50,000 sensors across the water distribution network.
- Data to be created for 3 years on flow rates, pressure, humidity temperature and
other parameters.
2. Develop Machine Learning Models:
- Train models to detect anomalies and predict potential issues.
- Utilize historical and real-time data for accurate predictions.
Proposed Solution
3. Integrate Geolocation Data:
- Map sensor data with GIS.
- Visualize problem areas and provide location-based alerts.
4. Create Dashboards:
- Develop user-friendly dashboards.
- Enable real-time monitoring, data visualization, and alert
management.
5. Integrate and Deploy:
- Seamlessly integrate the new system with existing infrastructure.
- Ensure smooth operation and enhanced water management
efficiency.
6. Monitoring and alert system
