Assertive sentence

Rule-1: Tense অনুযায়ী voice change( active to passive) করার িনয়মঃ

Rule-2: Model auxiliary ( যমনঃ can, could, may, might, should, would, have to, has to, must,
need, dare, ought to etc.) থাকেলঃ

Structure: Object ট subject হয়+ model auxilliary+ be+ মূল verb এর past participle form+ by+
subject এর objective form+ extension.

Example: Active: They should follow the rules. Passive: The rules should be followed
by them.
Rule-3: একই বােক দুই ট object থাকেলঃ

Structure: থেম ব বাচক Object ট subject হয়+সাহায কারী verb+ মূল verb এর past participle
form+ +ি তীয় object+ by+ subject এর objective form+ extension.

Example: Active: Mr. Karim teaches us English. Passive: We are taught English by
Mr. Karim.

Imperative sentence

Rule-1: Imperative sentence মূল verb ারা হেলঃ

Structure: Let+ Object ট subject+ be+ মূল verb এর past participle form+ extension.

Example: Active: Open the door. Passive: Let the door be opened.

Rule-2: মূল verb+ not/n’t থাকেলঃ

Structure: Let+ not+ object ট subject+ be+ মূল verb এর past participle form+ extension.

Example: Active: Don’t close the door. Passive: Let not the door be closed.

Rule-3: Imperative sentence ট Let ারা হেলঃ

Structure: Let+ object ট subject+ be+ মূল verb এর past participle form+ by+ subject এর
objective form+ extension.

Example: Active: Let him do the task. Passive: Let the task be done by him.
