Leveraging the company’s proven optical analog and mixed-signal product and IP. Gennum enables
multimedia and data communications products to send and receive information without compromising
the signal integrity. Gennum is headquartered in Burlington, Canada and has global design, research
and development and sales offices in Canada, Mexico the United States Japan Korea Germany Taiwan
and United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
 As an ABAP/4 consultant I am involved in preparing technical specification sheet, conducting code
reviews, preparing Test Plan documents and Performance Optimization. Along with devolvement,
implementation, enhancement, upgradation and maintenance of the following SAP supplied and
customer specific object.
Deliverable
 The project scope included identifying all the Upgrade effected programs, Unicode effected
programs, applying proper changes to upgrade the system as well to make it Unicode compliant.
 Worked on workflow, BSP CRM as per requirement
 Fixed the issues along with some enhancements.
 Bug fixes during the functional testing of the upgraded objects.
 The project also included the basis authorization work and changes the user profile roles. Many of
the programs and transactions were blocked at the user level in the new system so that those
programs cannot be displayed or executed.
 The project also included mentoring the team mates on the upgrade methodology and training them
to work on the project effectively and efficiently.
 Apart from the project work, helped the team in creating many tools for the SAP Upgrade purpose.
 LSMW creation via different methods i.e. Direct Input, Batch Input, Recording, BAPI and IDOC
Method.
 For a small duration I worked on one other project also as a mentor for the entire team.
