Ashish Airon, one of the co-founders of CogniTensor, got the idea for the company when he
was studying computer science in the UK. He was doing his master's degree at Oxford
University in 2018, and what you see as CogniTensor today was originally his thesis project.
This idea became a real company, and they've been growing and improving ever since. Airon
is an expert in deep learning, which is a type of computer technology. So, in simple terms, the
company started when Airon was in school, and it's all about using computer smarts to make
businesses work better.

CogniTensor's big dream is to use super-smart computer stuff to help companies make
better choices and fix their issues. They want to be really good at this and help all sorts of
companies work better with the help of smart technology. Simply put, they want to make

COMPANY’S HISTORY
The co-founder of this company, Ashish Airon, got the idea for the company while he was
studying for his master's degree in computer science in the UK. He worked on a project
during his studies at Oxford in 2018, and that project eventually became the basis for the
company. His expertise is in deep learning, and he's been working on developing and
expanding the idea ever since. So, in simple terms, the company was born from a project he
did in school and has been growing and changing ever since.
Before Airon started CogniTensor, he had another project called Meta Tensor in London,
which began around 2016-17. The goal of Meta Tensor was to bring together researchers
from all around the world to work on creating artificial intelligence (AI) models that
could effectively use a lot of data. To get Meta Tensor off the ground, Airon's dad
provided the initial funding
Two years later, in January 2018, Airon came back to India and started a company called
CogniTensor with two experienced individuals, Arun Aggarwal and Pankaj Mathur, who are
also the company's directors. Arun Aggarwal, who is 59 years old, is currently the CEO of
the company, while Pankaj Mathur, also 59, serves as the President. Airon, on the other
hand, is in charge of the product and strategy division of the company.

a job. The goal of job analysis is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the duties,
responsibilities, tasks, and qualifications associated with a particular job. This information is
valuable for various human resource management activities, such as recruitment, selection,
training, performance appraisal, and job design.
PURPOSE
Why do we do this? There are a few reasons. One is to make sure the right person is doing the
right job. Another is to figure out how well someone is doing in their job. We can also use
this information to understand how important a certain job is, and to see what kind of training
and development might help people do their jobs even better.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of a Business Development Intern can vary depending on the specific goals and
structure of the company. However, here are some common objectives that a Business
Development Intern might aim to achieve:

CHALLENGES
2. TIMELINE
It sounds like one of the main challenges during your internship was the long office
hours from 10 AM to 7 PM. This made it difficult for you to manage other aspects of
your life, such as going to the gym, sticking to your routine, and spending time with
friends.
Additionally, having your day off on Monday while your friends were free on Sunday
made it challenging to coordinate and spend time with them during the two months of
your internship.
3. ENDLESS DOUBTS
Whenever you have been assigned some work, it takes time to process how to proceed
further. There are several ways to do a job but you are not sure if there is any
particular way your supervisor expects you to do the task. Enough guidelines or
directions are not provided.
A common Intern problem is asking questions. The biggest hesitation lies in asking
questions because there is fear that it will create an impression that you don’t know
anything. It is also not easy to figure out which colleagues to ask for help or proper
guidance.
4. INFORMATION ABSORPTION
• Take Notes:
Bring a notebook or use your phone to jot down key points. This can help you
remember important details later on.
• Ask Questions:
Don't hesitate to ask for clarification if something is unclear. It's okay to seek more
information, especially when you're new.

Try to break the information into smaller chunks. Focus on understanding one aspect
before moving on to the next.
• Review Later:
Take sometime after the orientation to review the information. This can help
reinforce what you've learned.
• Find a Buddy:
If possible, connect with a colleague who can help guide you and answer questions
as you settle in.
WEEK 1

In the first week of my internship, I was oriented and introduced with the people within our
department. On a very first day I worked with Gaurav sir. he explained me that my Primary
responsibilities will be to identify potential clients, establish new prospective client
relationships and drive new revenue for the company. Understanding the company’s mission,
values and goals while getting to know the various departments and their function was
another objective to be fulfilled in the first week.
I gained insight about how to approach client interactions, conduct market research and
develop proposals. I immersed myself in the company culture while understanding the
values that guide decision-making and behaviour within the organizations.
I even use to have a scheduled feedback session with my supervisors to discuss my initial
impressions, any question I may have, and areas where I might need additional support.
My first week was about absorbing as much information as possible, building relationships,
and laying the groundwork for the weeks ahead
WEEK 2
In the second week I build on the foundation laid during the first week. I continued to deepen
my understanding of the services offered by the company, it also included additional training
sessions and discussion with experienced team members. I observed their interactions with
the clients, their sales techniques, and how they navigate the business development process.
Another important thing that I got to know was the CRM system utilization i.e., Basically
training on customer relationship management (CRM) systems used by the company. I gained
proficiency in updating and managing client information, tracking leads, and usage of the
system to streamline the business development activities. I began actively participating in
lead generation activities that might involve the usage of CRM system.
WEEK 3

In the 3rd week I got engage in more advanced training session related to AI technology,
industry trends, and the specific solutions that the company offers (workshops, webinars and
internal training programs). I conducted some independent research on AI industry,
competitors, and emerging technologies and also stayed updated on the latest advancements
and news, and the compile relevant information for the business development team. I
collaborated with team members to contribute to the development of proposals for potential
clients, it included creating sections related to AI solutions, value propositions, and
customization options.
I even practiced delivering a sales pitch and presentation related to AI products and
services. Seeking feedback from more experienced colleagues abetted me to enhance my
communication skills and refine the pitch.
WEEK 4

At the end of the 1st Month, my role became even more hands-on and integrated into the
business development process. It involved client meetings, proposal refinement, market
analysis, feedback implementation, collaborative projects, industry webinars and
workshops, networking events, sales funnel understanding, presentation skills and goal
setting for the coming weeks.
To be briefer one can say that I actively participated in client meetings under the guidance of
experienced team member. It involved presenting information about AI solutions, addressing
client questions and understanding client needs. While moving forward in the work I
continued to refine my skills in proposal development and worked on enhancing the AI-
specific sections of proposals, ensuring they are compelling, technically accurate, and client
requirement.
I contributed to a more in- depth market analysis. This involved identifying key trends in the
AI industry and understanding the unique selling points of the company’s offering.
Engaging in collaborative projects with other interns and team members that involved
working on specific aspect of a larger business development initiative and conducting
joint market research was another factor a
I participated in industry webinars and workshops to further engine my understanding of AI, I
used all these opportunities to expand my knowledge base.
By the end of the fourth week, I worked with my supervisors to set new goals for the
upcoming weeks, these goals were more challenging as I gain confidence and experience in
my role. Also, I implemented the feedbacks received from previous weeks into my daily
activities, to show an ability to learn and adapt quickly based on the guidance provided by
my supervisors.

In the fifth week, I learnt about cross-functional collaboration that is strengthening my
collaborations with other departments, especially those involved in AI products development
and technical aspects. I learnt how to effectively communicate technical details to clients and
bridge the gap between technical team and potential customers. If there were any strategy
meetings or discussions happening, I use to actively participate and share my ideas and
opinions. Apart from all this communication and market research were another two factors
which I use to work on.
WEEK 6
In week 6, sales process and customer persona development were the important aspects.
To be briefer, I basically outlined the company’s sales cycle and learnt about the various
stages of the sales process.
I also got guidance in creating detailed customer personas to better understand the targeted
market or audience.
WEEK 7
In week 7, my focus was on networking and information gathering.
I used this time to gather my remaining information pieces that I required for my role in the
company which included market analysis. There were specific people with whom I haven’t
got chance to interact with, I tried to talk to them, in a manner improve my communication
skills.
WEEK 8
Week 8 was like a blend of all the weeks. I redid all the jobs once again for better
understanding and revision. I also got my hands on few projects so that I have better on
field experience.
Under the guidance of Gaurav Agrawal, I have learned so many things about how a company
runs.

Having the opportunity to intern at KC Garments Private Limited was a stroke of luck for me.
Spending time with the individuals who shape this industry was incredibly enriching and
provided a perfect window into the world of artificial intelligence.

During 60 days’ internship period at CogniTensor Pvt. Ltd., I observed some areas with
a scope for improvement. Based on my observations, following are some suggestions
for improvements
