A uniform composition uses similar assets


arranged in a row and at the same scale

headlines, a script logo, or from the top edge of the
piece.

Background Colors

Coca-Cola Red is our preferred background


color. It is the foundation of our brand and
should be the predominant color in everything
we design.

White may also be used as a background


when combined with red festive assets.
This ensures that Coca-Cola Red remains
the predominant color.

Some of the illustration compositions use


Festive Green as a background color. This
is the only instance when green can be
used as a background color.

The majority of assets have standout
on any background color.

However, assets cannot be used on


backgrounds that are the same color,
as the main part of the bauble and
outline shape becomes indistinguishable.

When creating a composition that combines


Santa with other festive assets, there are a
number of elements to incorporate:

– Santa should always interact with the assets in


a playful way e.g., by either leaning or sitting on
the baubles

– The bauble and bottle assets should be larger


in scale in relation to Santa, except for the bottle
Santa is holding which should be true to life size

– Assets should never be more than 2x the width,


and an extra 0.25x the height of Santa (see top
examples for maximum) so they do not compete

– Santa should be the main focus where he


appears

– Santa can overlap the assets but the assets


cannot overlap each other

Our Heritage

Taking cues from our rich heritage,


our new headline typeface uses
details from previous Coca-Cola
advertising typography.

CHRISTMAS
Our new typeface TCCC Real is a fresh
and modern take on headline typography.
Its crafted letter forms combine two weights
ƞĴêƞĴêƽĔąĔĔŚŘĔƞĹĆƦŏŤƦƒŏDŽƊĔǘŚĔčȣŘêŌĹŚĭ
them suitable for use in today’s printed
and digital applications.

The typeface has been created so that


adjusting the, spacing, tracking and kerning isn’t
necessary. The spacing between letters
will always be the optimal amount.

ALWAYS FINDS
When used in headlines, the mixed widths
create bold, expressive, and unique new
typographic treatments.

The typeface has been designed to work


optimally in the size range Medium to Display
(point 40+). In extreme smaller sizes it is advised
to open up the letter-spacing manually.

The Curated set includes the following wide

letters: AEOUCG. In cases where many wide
letters appear next to each other, the narrow
versions can be switched in via OpenType feature
'Stylistic Alternates 1-6' or via the Glyph palette.
