Topic: The impact of Industry 4.
0 in modern energy and Utility management
Problem Statement: Modern energy and utility management systems are handling and
exploiting a large volume of data collected by various types of meters. The number of
variables for a certain industrial operation, assembling the above concepts it has
extensive monitoring at the various and remote locations. Many variables are playing the
effecifiecy of the energy sector. The energy and utility sector is also facing challenges in
sustainability, around a common, integrated, and robust objective
Data Collection and Analysis: The qualitative data is collected from various literature
reviews and papers. This primary data is on experimental data. The secondary data is
observed data from changes in the energy prices are studied, the impact of industry 4.0
on the countries and international policy. The development of different digital technologies
and strategies in the energy sector can also cover the growing energy need and can
support the transformation towards clean and nuclear or more sustainable and renewable
technologies.
Disruptive forces transforming the electric power sector, and many power company
leaders are planning their digital journeys based are consider.
Methodology:
Qualitative data is analyzed based on the utility and power sector requirements and where
the industry is keen to adopt the advanced technology. This study is focused on the gray
area for the power and utility sector and finds out the industry 4.0 support to overcome
these. The inputs taken from data are categorized based on their nature and the function
used in the power and utility sector. This study is to find out solutions towards the angle
sustainability of power and utility sectors.
Topic: Manufacturing industries energy conservation variables and opportunities.
Problem statement:
Energy is one of the important inputs for manufacturing industries. Its contribution is
significant in manufacturing costs. There are many sources where energy is taking part in
manufacturing and many types of equipment are involved in it. Energy conservation is
needed in modern industries to reduce manufacturing costs and sustainable business.
Data Collection and Analysis:
Data is collected from a set of manufacturing industries. It is experimental data from
industries, Published Papers, bureau of energy conservations, The data from papers are
simulation data. Data is rationalized it based on the process of manufacturing. Power
consumption fig for different industries is normalized by the technology used for
manufacturing. Data is analyzed with Pareto chart to Identify the most possible area of
opportunities.
Methodology:
Derived data involves using existing data points, often from different data sources, to
create new data through some sort of transformation, such as an arithmetic formula or
aggregation.
There is the interfacing of Advance technology and process on optimization of energy
consumption on the equipment side as well as the process to reduce the cost of
manufacturing.
