Project title
* Methods and Applications of Calculating the Angle of
Elevation for Building Height Measuremen.
Introduction
In the world of architecture, construction, surveying, and numerous other fields, accurately
determining the height of a building is an essential aspect of project planning and execution. One
widely used method for this purpose is calculating the angle of elevation of the top of a building, a
technique that has been employed for decades to derive building heights, especially in situations
where direct measurements are impractical or too costly. This School-Based Assessment (SBA)
explores the methods and applications of calculating the angle of elevation for building height
measurement, shedding light on the fundamental principles, techniques, and tools involved in this
practice. Through this SBA, we aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of how calculating the
angle of elevation has become an indispensable tool for accurately determining building heights,
enabling informed decision-making, and contributing to the development of safer and more efficient
architectural and engineering projects
Method of data collection

In carrying out this investigation, I Donneil powell obtained data by visiting construction sites within
Brownstown and asked for permission to spectate labourers working calculating the angle elevation
for building height measuremen
