A. Case 1 - Chapter 5: A NOVEL WELLNESS CULTURE

I. Feedback on the presentation and debate (Qhuong)

1. About the presentation

Through the session on Wednesday, the efficacy of group 2 could possibly be greatly
impacted by the presenter's ability to communicate well-prepared knowledge which is a
crucial component. I am impressed by a way to provide an intelligent and captivating
presentation, Group 2's recent presentation demonstrated an interesting extent of
preparation and understanding.

First and foremost, providing feedback to Group 2 serves as a catalyst for continuous
improvement. Each member can determine areas of strength and those that require
useful observations. Through this procedure, team 2 is able to enhance their presenting
abilities that will guarantee that their subsequent presentations are more polished and
powerful. I think a growth-oriented mentality is fostered by constructive criticism
which pushes team 2 to evaluate their performance. Guys in the team not only have
distinct, fluid voices but they also turned on the camera and spoke with ease, showing
that they respected the audience.

Additionally, the group builds on their accomplishments and promotes positive

behaviours to compliment the parts of the presentation that connected with the class
as well as clearly communicated the desired message motivates. We can see their slides
and this awareness gives the group the ability to modify their strategy in order to better
interact and establish a connection with their audience during subsequent
presentations. As a result, I believe that my feedback can proceed to enhance their
performance and team 2 could provide presentations that do better next time.

2. About the debate

In the first question, they show the depth of knowledge about “promoting a novel style
of living in society”. I absolutely agree with their answers that include these issues:
education and awareness, community engagement and policy changes. In conclusion,
the member claimed that "promoting a novel style of living in society" refers to
encouraging regular physical activity and encouraging others to follow suit in order to
improve society's health.

After evaluating Group 2's performance, Team 1 addressed every question from other
teams as well as any concerns that could still be unclear to certain groups about the
presentation. It is obvious that the inquiries from Team 2 were quite perceptive and
comprehensive.
Secondly, in the next question, team 2 got the interest from the whole class with their
answer which represents the Wellness Foundation plan to get more people of all ages to
do physical activities and the reason why it is important. While listening to everyone's
views with patience, the team firmly supported their viewpoint. Nevertheless, I
encourage team members to voice opposing viewpoints and answer harsh questions
from their opponents in order to spice up the conversation.

Moreover, team 2 has the ability to address the issue of alcohol use being necessary for
job opportunities. They responded to questions while making suggestions, displaying
bravery in addition to in-depth subject-matter expertise. Anyway, I implore the group
to engage in more comprehensive discussions and provide other viewpoints so as to
foster diversity.

In the summary, both teams 1 and 2 offered helpful information based on well-informed
viewpoints as a result of supporting their claims with rational thought.

II. What was learned about the other groups? (MIke)

1. From the presentation of group

In the Summary section, Group 2 provided an easily understood overview of the case's
contents, along with valuable information regarding initiatives and organisations working to
enhance public health in Europe. In their presentation, the group presented figures and
listed the names of organisations and projects to make it easier for viewers to follow.

Throughout the question-answering section, the group excellently completed their task by
giving extremely comprehensive answers. In response to the first question regarding
Technogym's need to find a balance between profit and social responsibility, the group
proposed very convincing methods such as integrating social responsibility into business
activities, commitment to philanthropic initiatives and maintaining a focus on innovation to
drive both social responsibility and profitability. Group 2 also gave a very compelling
example of the "Play Wellness" fund to reinforce their argument. Coming to the next
question, the group stated that Nerio Alessandri's approach is consistent with the concept of
social responsibility. Group 2 was very dedicated to providing an overview of the concept of
social responsibility, and also listed a number of factors that help classify social responsibility
to help viewers thoroughly understand this new concept.

In response to the third question, which addressed how to emphasise the authenticity of
social responsibility without resorting to the motions for profit, The group identified four
primary ideas, including: alignment, transparency, cooperation and focus on the long term.
From a manager's perspective, the group provided valuable opinions by deploying their
ideas logically. In the final question, when asked about their opinion on whether the
Wellness Foundation could increase Technogym's revenue, the group did not hesitate to list
the benefits that the foundation could offer Technogym. The group then came to the
conclusion that Technogym could leverage its social activities to improve both public health
and corporate prosperity.

In short, group 2's presentation was outstanding; they delivered an extraordinary

presentation with intriguing and relevant information. The way they interpret and present
information to viewers is also extremely commendable. Group 2 illustrates a carefully
planned presentation.

2. In terms of the debating part

Both groups 1 and 2 presented an intriguing debate with questions that piqued the interest of
viewers. Group 2 provided extremely thorough and persuasive replies to the challenging
questions posed by Group 1 in a brief amount of time, which allowed the audience to have a
deeper understanding of the subject the group was discussing.

In the first question, Group 1 asked group 2 to share their thoughts on "promoting a new
lifestyle in society". Group 2's response to this question included several tactics that The
Wellness Foundation might utilise, leading to the conclusion that "promoting new lifestyles
in society" primarily focuses on motivating people to engage in regular physical exercise in
order to enhance their health.

When it came to the next question, group 1 continued to focus on The Wellness Foundation
by raising questions about how to attract more people of all ages to participate in physical
activities and why teachers play an important role in this project. To this question, the group
gave a to-the-point answer, making sure to highlight the significance of teachers'
involvement since they play a special role in forming the minds of future generations.

In the third question, Group 1 posed a fascinating yet relatable question close to everyday
life but very interesting about the social culture of drinking alcohol in business discussing
dinner, which is a typical occurrence in Vietnam. And group 2 concluded their response by
providing some quite helpful answers to the issue of normalising alcohol usage in a
professional setting.

And in the final question, group 1 reiterated some of the points made in group 2's
presentation, and also questioned the notion that excessive sitting would be a major issue.
In response to this question, group 2 performed a fantastic job of presenting strong evidence
to support the claim that prolonged sitting can lead to illness and significant financial costs
for the government.

All things considered, both groups performed admirably in their capacities as questioners
and responders. Group 1's presentation was enhanced by the group's discussion, which
brought a wider viewpoint and increased everyone's concern for public health.

B. Case 2 - Chapter 5:

I. Feedback on the presentation and debate ( HNgoc)

1. About the presentation

Team 1 was really pleasantly surprised at the power of content, style and persuasion
displayed by members of team6. Perhaps, the presentation style adopted by Team 6 was quite
professional and blunt. The slides were professionally designed in terms of their size and
supported visuals. We are really thankful to Team 6 for their ability both of leading and
answering questions.
Team 6 proved itself to be good in the answering questions, accompanied by sufficient
evidence. But, we were impressed by the overall quality of performance and competence
displayed in team members. They have set the standard for our future presentations and
debates.

The way the team’s message was presented greatly contributed to its depth and
understandability. Team 6 was able to create a structure for the presentation that is easily
understandable from introduction till content and summary. Each part of the speech was
designed for a specific purpose, enabling viewers to follow and clearly understand matters
presented.

The team organised logical reasoning through each subchapter of the presentation. All details
of the presentation were evident as to its significance and aims. The group offered questions,
goals and meaning for every piece that helped to make the message clearer and more detailed.

The team members were able to demonstrate confidence in their presentation that proved
much more effective with the audience. Self-confidence is one of the important elements that
contribute to holding attention and positively image. The words chosen by Team 6 were
appropriate for the audience as it was easy to absorb and innovative resulting in a pleasant
connection with the viewers.

The time management of Team6 was also sustained throughout his presentation, indicating
that every member had a serious work attitude. The clear and logical distribution of
responsibilities ensured the prevention of such situations as panic or lack of time for
presentation.

As a whole, Team 6 showed great professionalism and admirable dedication in the

presentation. Team 6 derives much of its strength from the teamwork spirit demonstrated by
Team.

2. About the debate

When Team 5 reviewed the performance of Group 6, they responded to all questions raised
by other teams in addition to such issues that might remain unclear for some groups
concerning presentation. Team 5’s questions were especially insightful and encompassing.

Team 5 formulated questions closely linked to the content, asking team 6 to clarify issues that
were not clear. They supported their statements with compelling evidence and examples
showing deep insight into the subject matter. Moreover, they provided a well-formatted
presentation with logical arguments.

The debate fostered a lively and pleasant environment. The team confidently defended their
perspective while patiently listening to all contributions. But to make the discussion more
attractive, I recommend that team members present contrary opinions and respond with their
opponents’ challenging questions.
Team 1 of our team claims the ability of Team 6 to handle questions and feedback by
audience. They interacted with queries and entertained input, which reflects courage as well
as exhaustive knowledge of the subject matter. However, for the purpose of promoting
diversity, I urge the team to delve deeper into discussions and offer alternative ideas.

In summary, teams 5 and 6 provided constructive knowledge based on informed perspectives

that they used to advocate their positions with reason.

II. What was learned about the other groups? (Ni)

1. From the presentation of group

About the summary section, Group 6 effectively summarises the key points of the scandal in
a few sentences. Highlights various aspects like mention the cause, scope, consequences,
and potential contributing factors as well as clarify "prevailing cutthroat culture" in their
presentation.

The presentation team clearly and objectively stated the issue. Starting with the first
question, the data points to a multifaceted interaction of variables that are responsible for
Volkswagen's immoral actions. We can also understand the reason why Volkswagen
engages in such unethical behaviour. From there, find out the challenges as well as be able
to prevent such events in the future. Moving to the second question, group 6 addresses the
Volkswagen emissions scandal and potential structural variables. They have provided
enough information to point out the factors among the complex interactions. Moreover,
understanding these structural variables is crucial for preventing similar scandals in the
future. As well as by critically examining these aspects, we learn valuable lessons from
Volkswagen's mistakes and strive to build our business more responsibly and ethically.

In the last question, Group 6 has quite a great summary of the key takeaways on how
Volkswagen can prevent similar ethical lapses in the future. They emphasise the importance
of a strong ethical culture built on several pillars: ethical leadership, transparency, trust and
accountability, employee training and development. Furthermore, following that, they also
show these are all valuable steps that Volkswagen can take to rebuild trust and ensure that
they don't repeat the mistakes of the past. Additionally, Volkswagen will need to commit to
making sustainable progress to truly create a culture of ethical behaviour. It's necessary for
them to have serious effort and time to solve that problem.

In conclusion, Group 6 delivered a tour de force of presentation mastery. Their

meticulously planned approach, coupled with their insightful content and captivating
engagement, left a truly lasting impression.

2. In terms of the debating part

The intellectual sparring between Group 5 and Group 6 resulted in a captivating debate.
Group 5's responses to Group 6's incisive inquiries were noteworthy for their concise yet
thorough articulation and persuasive reasoning. This insightful exchange significantly
enhanced the audience's comprehension of the intricate topic under discussion.

Starting with the first question, Group 5 asked group 6 about the unethical behaviour at
Volkswagen. To solve that question, group 6 already showed that Volkswagen's
unethical behaviour stemmed from a complex interplay of individual actions and
systemic shortcomings.

Moving to the next question, both groups 5 and 6 were quite good at approaching
the question directly and comprehensively on the topic of solving the problem facing
Volkswagen. In this question, it pushed the problem out of its original comfort zone to
find tangible solutions that help the company to implement issues about
Volkswagen's cultural and systemic change.

In the third question, group 5 already took audiences with another topic when asking
group 6 about Volkswagen's response to the emissions scandal, which is something
that almost everyone is interested in. In addition, Group 6 provided a relatively
objective and comprehensive response to the entire issue, which included the
answer points to Volkswagen's downplaying of the issue by attributing it to a
technical glitch and underreporting the number of affected cars as evidence of poor
crisis management and lack of transparency. This initial response likely exacerbated
the situation by eroding public trust. Apart from that, the response suggests that
Volkswagen's delayed and complicated reaction stemmed from both poor crisis
management and an attempt to conceal the true extent of wrongdoing. This
highlights the company's likely intention to minimise the damage it faced, both
financially and reputationally.

Both groups had a really good conversation where they asked each other interesting
questions and gave thoughtful answers. The debate between groups 5 and 6 as well
as the presentation of group 6 provided a comprehensive overview of the problem
facing Volkswagen by introducing nuanced perspectives and deepening the urgency
of the issue of public health concerns.
