Guide lines for Institute Transport:
• You may book your seat through online booking facility available on this link:
• First four seats (behind driver) in the Bus and first two seat (behind driver) in the van will be reserved for faculty, who are travelling for “taking classes”. This is not applicable in the
• If driver is running vehicle more than 40 km/hr (in case of Bus/Van) and 45 km/hr (in case of Car), please instruct to driver to follow speed limit.
• If there is some discrepancy (like brakes are not working, head lights are not working, tyres are not gripping on the surface of the road or any other), please instruct driver not to run
• Overcrowding is not allowed. Considering current scenario, capacity of Bus & Van are 15 persons, 06 persons respectively. Everyone should follow the Govt. guidelines. All of you

• Do not litter, mark, cut or scratch any part of the vehicle.
• Throwing objects inside or outside of the bus is not permitted.
• Buses/van will not stop between North & South Campus after 10:00 pm.
• Institute vehicles are only for IIT Mandi students, employees and their families. If any other person board in vehicle please inform to driver or Transport Control Room (South
• The bus schedule will follow the institute working schedule. For example on a Saturday if the institute marks it as a Wednesday schedule, then bus will follow the Wednesday vehicle
• The word “Hol” in the schedule mean “Holiday”. This will be followed when institute marks a working day as Holiday. The same will not be followed if this day falls on a Sunday.
