Components of a Computer
Motherboard: The main circuit board connecting all components.
Central Processing Unit (CPU): The brain of the computer, performing all instructions.
Memory (RAM): Short-term data storage for quick access by the CPU.
Storage Drive (HDD or SSD): Long-term data storage for operating systems, applications, and files.
Power Supply Unit (PSU): Provides electrical power to the computer.
Graphics Processing Unit (GPU): Handles visual data processing for displays.
Cooling System (Fans, Heat Sinks): Prevents overheating by dissipating heat.
Optical Drive (optional): Reads/writes data from/to CDs, DVDs, or Blu-ray discs.
Input Devices (Keyboard, Mouse): Used for data entry and control.
Output Devices (Monitor, Printer): Displays processed data to the user.
Network Card: Allows the computer to connect to networks and the internet.
