Teaching disabilities:

1. Physical disability: They have difficulty accessing classrooms or learning materials.

We must use digital tools for note making and e books instead of physical book.

2. Visual impairement: They have difficulty accessing visual contents such as textbooks,
diagram, and boards. They may have limited access to printed/digital material without
screen readers. We must offer materials in Braille or large font. We also must incorporate
tactile diagram and 3D content.

3 Hearing impairements: They have difficulty accessing spoken lectures, or

participating in verbal discussions. We must use slides or diagrams to supplement
lectures. We also have to make use of text based resources.

2
Universal Approah to Inclusive Education

1. Differentiated Instruction: Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse needs.

2. Universal Design for Learning (UDL): Offer multiple means of representation,

engagement, and expression.

3. Peer Support: Pair students with buddies for collaborative learning.

Disability issues while using computers

Visual impairement: They have difficulty seeing the icon, screen or text. We must employ high
contast themes, use tools such as JAWS, or VoiceOver for reading text aloud. We also must make
use of magnifiers such as Windows Magnifier or ZoomText.

Hearing impairements: They have difficulties in accesing video content, notification or use video
calls. We must make use of visual alerts, where we beed to configure operating systems to display
visual notifications instead of audio notification. To make calls, audio and video accessible for
those having hearing impairements, we must emoloy captioning services, so thata they can be
accurate in what they are trying to tell.
Physical Disability: They have difficulties in using standard keyboards, mices or touchscreens.
They may experience fatigue from prolonged usage. We have to make them use trackball, joystick
or adaptive keyboards. We also must make use of eye tracking system, such as Tobii.

universal solution to all users

1. Accessibility Settings: Enable features like sticky keys, mouse keys, or screen
readers on operating systems (Windows, macOS, or Linux).

2. Assistive Software: Use programs like Inclusive Technology Switch Access.

3. Training and Awareness: Educate users and developers on accessibility tools

and best practices.
