WELCOME TO CSC
Common Service Centres (CSC) scheme is one of the
mission mode projects under the Digital India Programme.

CSC e-Governance Services India Limited


CSC e-Governance Services India Limited, a Special Purpose
Vehicle, has been set up by the Ministry of Electronics & IT
under the Companies Act, 1956 to oversee implementation of
the CSC scheme. CSC SPV provides a centralized collaborative
framework for delivery of services to citizens through CSCs,
besides ensuring systemic viability and sustainability of the
Scheme.
About CSC
CSCs are the access points for delivery of essential public utility services,
social welfare schemes, healthcare, financial, education and agriculture
services, apart from host of B2C (Business to Consumers) services to
citizens in rural and remote areas of the country. It is a pan-India network
catering to regional, geographic, linguistic and cultural diversity of the
country, thus enabling the Government’s mandate of a socially, financially
and digitally inclusive Society.

About Digital India


Digital India is a flagship programme of the Government of India with a
vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and
knowledge economy.

The programme was launched on July 1, 2015 by


Hon’ Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Vision of CSC SPV
To develop CSCs as a reliable and ubiquitous IT-enabled network of citizen
service points connecting local population with government departments,
business establishments, banks, insurance companies and educational
institutions, with an impact on primary, secondary and tertiary sectors of
the country’s economy.

Government to Citizen
One of the key mandates of CSC scheme is to deliver Government to
Citizen (G2C) services. Various G2C services of Central Government
Ministries and departments, apart from State-specific services have
been integrated on the Digital Seva portal for delivery to citizens in rural
and remote areas of the country through the network of CSCs.

Lot of Services Rendered by our CSC to our VLE’s.

VLE’s can use the services via Digital Seva Portal which is rendered by CSC.

VLE have to maintain Rs.100/- in the Digital Seva Portal e-Wallet.

VLE’s can do all the transactions through Digital Seva Portal e-Wallet only.

VLE can able do the transaction of maximum Rs.49,999/- at a time for any of
the service.

VLE’s can top up their e-Wallet through Digipay, Net banking, Debit & Credit
Card and UPI modes.
Process of Password Reset/Retrieve for

Enter register.csc.gov.in in address bar
Click My Account in that page
Give Tick Mark and then Click Start Capture
Click Account Settings
In Account Settings 1) Select Connect Password
2) Select No Option (if old Password not known)
3) Then Select Mobile Option,
4) Next Generate OTP
5) Enter OTP received in your mobile
6) Enter new password and then enter the password again for confirmation

Password is the Combination of Capital Letter, Small Letters, Special Characters


And Numbers and it should be minimum 8 characters..

New Service for CSC - Launch event of ABC
ID
அகாடமிக் ேபங்க் ஆஃப் கிெரடிட்ஸ் (ABC) பற்றி

ேதசியக் கல்விக் ெகாள்ைக 2020ன் படி, ஒரு திட்டத்தில்


இருந்து ெபாருத்தமான "கடன் பரிமாற்ற" வழிமுைறயுடன்,
நாட்டில் உள்ள உயர்கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் படிக்கும்
சுதந்திரத்துடன் மாணவர்களின் கல்வி இயக்கத்ைத
எளிதாக்குவதற்கு ABC வங்கி (ABC) திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
மற்ெறாருவருக்கு, பட்டம்/ டிப்ளேமா/ பிஜி-டிப்ளேமா
ேபான்றவற்ைறப் ெபற வழிவகுத்தது.

பதிவு ெசய்யப்பட்ட நிறுவனங்களால் வழங்கப்படும்


வரவுகைள ஏபிசி மாணவர்களின் கணக்கில் ெடபாசிட் ெசய்யும்.
கல்வி வங்கிக் கடன்(கள்) நிறுவனங்களிடமிருந்து மட்டுேம
பகிரப்பட முடியும், மாணவர்களிடமிருந்து ேநரடியாக அல்ல.
அங்கீ கரிக்கப்பட்ட நிறுவனத்தால் சமர்ப்பிக்கப்பட்ட வரவுகள்
மட்டுேம ABC ஆல் ேசமிப்பிற்காகவும் சரிபார்ப்பிற்காகவும்
ஏற்றுக்ெகாள்ளப்படும்.

அவர்களின் ஏபிசி 'கல்வி கணக்கில்'
ெடபாசிட் ெசய்யப்படும். மாணவர் ேவறு
நிறுவனத்திற்கு மாறினால், திரட்டப்பட்ட
வரவுகள் புதிய நிறுவனத்தின் கணக்கிற்கு
மாற்றப்படும். ஒரு நிறுவனத்தில் இருந்து
கடன்கள் மாற்றப்படலாம், அேத அல்லது
மற்ெறாரு நிறுவனத்தால் வழங்கப்படும்
மற்ெறாரு திட்டத்தில் திரட்டப்படும்.
ேமற்கூறிய விருதுக்கான கிெரடிட்
மீ ட்ெடடுக்கப்பட்டதும், அது அந்தந்த
மாணவர்களின் ABCயின் ‘கல்வி
கணக்கிலிருந்து’ திரும்பப் ெபறமுடியாமல்
பற்று ைவக்கப்படும்.

ஏபிசி படிவத்ைத நிரப்பவும் பிறகு சப்மிட் ெசய்யவும்


அதன்பிறகு டிஜிட்டல் ேசவா ேபார்டல் மூலமாக ABC ேசைவக்கு உண்டான
கட்டணம் (ரூ.12.60/-*) ெசலுத்தி ெதாடரவும் (ரூ.17.40/-* VLE கமிஷன்)

கட்டணம் ெசலுத்திய பின் ரூ.30.00/-* ரசீது உருவாக்கப்படும் அைத டவுன்ேலாட்


ெசய்து ெகாடுக்கவும்.

இப்ேபாது ABC ஐடிையப் ெபற “Download ABC ID”

TYPE OF PASSPORT
1. Ordinary Passport (Dark blue Cover): Issued to ordinary citizens for ordinary
travel, such as for vacation, study and business trips.
2. Official Passport (White Cover): Issued to individuals representing the Indian
government on official business.
3. Diplomatic Passport (Maroon Cover): Issued to Indian diplomats, Members of
Parliament, Member of Union council o Minister certain high-ranking government officials and
diplomatic couriers. Upon request, it may also be issued to high-ranking state-level officials
travelling on official business.

To avail the Passport Online services, the VLE has to login through CSC-ID and password.

Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited, commonly known as CIBIL, is India’s first Credit Information

• A Commercial Bureau that deals with the records of companies and institutions.
What is CIBIL Report?

CIBIL report is a single document which reflects your credit history over a significant period of time. This
reports further assist in evaluating the credit worthiness of the individual or corporate entity. It includes the
following information-

• Personal details of an applicant (name, age, gender and address)


• CIBIL score

• Number of enquiries made by potential lenders on receipt of the loan/credit card application

• Record of previous and current loans with payment history

•Any defaults on loan/credit card payment


How to avail this service on Digital Seva Portal?

All registered VLEs within the CSC ecosystem will have access to this service. Please follow the below
steps to generate consumer CIBIL report.
1. Login to Digital Seva Portal and select CIBIL service on dashboard

2. The CIBIL form will open as shown below. VLE should enter customer details and submit consent.

3. After proceeding, generate and authenticate the details via OTP received on the customer’s Aadhaar
linked mobile and email address.
4. Post successful authentication, the report details will be made available as shown below:

signed copy of the same.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a Central
Sector scheme with 100% funding from Government of India.
Under the Scheme an income support of Rs.6000/- per year is
provided to all farmer families across the country in three equal
installments of Rs.2000/- each every four months.
Definition of family for the Scheme is husband, wife and minor
children.
For enrollment, the farmer is required to approach the local

the State Government.
Farmers can also do their self-registration through the Farmers

Government of India has introduced a pension scheme for
un-organized workers under named of Pradhan Mantri
Shram Yogi Maan-dhan (PM-SYM) to ensure old age
protection for Un-organized Workers.
The un-organized workers mostly engaged as home based
workers, street vendors, landless laborers, own account
workers, agricultural workers or other similar occupations
with monthly income up-to Rs 15,000/- belonging to age
group of 18-40 years are eligible.
They should not cover under NPS(New Pension Scheme),
ESIC(Employee’s State Insurance Corporation, EPFO.
Further, he/she should not be an income tax payer.

FEATURES OF PM-SYM
It is a voluntary and contributory pension scheme, under which the subscriber
would receive following benefits:
1. Minimum Assured Pension: Each subscriber under PM-SYM, shall receive
minimum assured pension of Rs. 3000 per month after attaining the age of 60
Years
2. Family Pension: During the receipt of pension, if the subscriber dies, the
spouse of the beneficiary shall be entitled to receive 50% of the pension
received by the beneficiary as family pension. Family pension is applicable
only to spouse.
3. If a beneficiary has a given regular contribution and died due to any cause
(before age of 60 years), his/her spouse will be entitled to join and continue the
scheme subsequently by payment of regular contribution or exit the scheme
as per provisions of exit and withdrawal.

Registered workers under NDUW can take PM Suraksha Bhima
Yojana.
Premium of Rs. 12 will be waived off for 1 year.
WHY TO DO REGISTRATION IN
NDUW ?
✔ Unorganised workers will get the benefits of social security &

Each workers that fulfills the below criteria is eligible

✔ Should not be member of EPFO and ESIC
✔ Must be working in unorganized workers categories

that receive regular salaries, emoluments and other benefits

GENERAL QUERIES
1. Is there any charge the worker has to pay for the new
registration in NDUW?
No, the workers does not have to pay anything for new registration,
however worker will pay any amount of Rs 20 incase of any updation.
2. Does the UAN card have some validity?
It is VALID for lifetime.
3. Does the worker have to renew the UAN card every year?
If the information changes or any other details is updated, the worker
must
reprint the card again.
3. If the worker is not paying income tax but filing the returns. Is
he eligible?
Yes, worker can get register in this case.

• Open a browser and enter a URL digitalseva.csc.gov.in and click on
login Button
• Enter your CSC ID & Password and hit on Sign IN button
• Search “LPG” from the Search Box
• LPG utility will be displayed. Now click on “Click Here” button
• Click on “DIGITAL SEVA CONNECT” button.
• Click on “Proceed” button for proceed to further step.
• Click on below tab for refiling
the LPG Cylinder.
• Click on below tab for refiling the LPG Cylinder.
• Select OMC , Distributor Name & Enter Consumer Number. Hit Submit
Button.
• Check Customer detail and click on “Make Payment” button.
• Enter your CSC Password for completing the transaction and
click on “Validate”.
• Enter your wallet pin and click on “Pay”
button.
• Booking has been successfully done you may take a
print out.
THINGS TO KNOW:
▪VLE can charge Rs.2 from the customer for booking
of LPG Cylinder
▪Do not Charge more than Rs.2 or else legal action
will be taken

IRCTC BOOKING MANUAL
Dear VLE

If you are new to IRCTC ticket booking in CSC, please refer to this manual.

This manual describes the IRCTC train ticket booking, cancellation and refund process in CSC SAFAR portal.

VERIFICATION PROCESS

Before starting IRCTC train ticket booking, VLE needs to complete two step verification processes.

1. Email OTP verification


2. Aadhaar KYC verification

Once IRCTC id is created, VLE will get an activation mail in registered email. VLE need to check their registered email
inbox and complete email OTP verification.

Then visit to the Agent Interface Portal to complete Aadhaar KYC Process.

Please go to update profile menu to check KYC. If KYC is pending, please update your Aadhaar number, First name, Last
Name and submit OTP. The OTP will be received in VLE Aadhaar registered mobile.
You can also change your IRCTC booking password in this same portal.

If you are not received the activation mail or facing password issues to login agent interface portal, please contact
your district team.

Once you successfully complete the verification processes, your Agent id is ready to book tickets.
BOOKING PROCESS

1. Login to CSC SAFAR portal using CSC id and password.

2. Go to Our services menu

-->Train and click Booking

3. Enter From & To - Station details, Date and click Find train
4. Select the train and check the availability of the ticket then click Book Now

5. Enter passenger mobile number and click Master List.

The very first time you need to enter passenger’s full details like Name, Age & Gender. The passenger’s details saved
automatically into Master List database.

Kindly enter valid mobile number only for booking otherwise refund process will be difficult.
6. If old passenger, VLE can select the passenger from the Master List using mobile number.

7. Then check the other preferences like birth preference and travel insurance if needed. Then click continue
booking.
8. Click the Pay button. The ticket amount will be deducted from digital CSC wallet.

9. Enter CSC wallet password & pin to make payment.


10. Then Enter IRCTC password, OTP, Captcha and click submit button to complete the booking.

You will receive a OTP in your IRCTC registered mobile number. Click reload button in your browser if OTP is getting
delayed.

If wrong password entered or OTP is not received, the booking will be failed. The ticket amount will be refunded to your
CSC wallet. If you forget the password, please contact your district team.

11. Ticket booked successfully.

Click print ticket to take print out or save the ticket.


TICKET CANCELLATION & REFUND

1. History Menu in Safar Portal

In this menu VLE can do the ticket cancellation and refund OTP verification and file TDR. To cancel a ticket click ticket
history.

2. Check the PNR which you want to cancel and click the action icon.
3. Select the passenger.

If multiple passengers in the same PNR, carefully select the passenger who need to cancel the ticket and then click the
Cancel Ticket button.

4. Click Yes
5. Ticket is cancelled.

6. Verify OTP for refund.

Once Ticket is cancelled, and OTP is going to Passenger registered mobile. So mobile number is very important while
ticket booking.
7. Enter the OTP received on Passenger mobile and click verify button. You can resend the OTP 3 times if passenger not
received it.

8. OTP is verified successfully. The refund amount will be credited to CSC wallet.
WAITING LIST - WL TICKET REFUND

If the booked ticket is on the waiting list and cancelled automatically, VLE can get refund only after verifying the
refund OTP. There are two options to verify OTP for WL cancelled tickets.

1. CSC Safar Portal

2. Agent Interface Portal

If WL ticket is not available in Safar portal, VLE can use agent interface portal for the OTP verification. Login to agent
interface portal, go to enquiries menu and click OTP for refund option. VLE need to enter PNR & Cancellation ID both then
resend or verify the OTP..

DO’S FOR IRCTC ID HOLDERS

The agent must ensure that the transaction (Booking or cancellation) is


done
with the complete knowledge and acceptance of the customer

VLE should cancel the ticket, only on request of the customer.


Always verify the OTP after the ticket cancellation for processing timely
refunds.
It is mandatory for all VLEs to maintain the written/ electronic requests
of the customer and also keep a copy of the ID proof from the
customers for both booking & cancellation of the tickets at the CSC
IRCTC Ticket booking Centre for a period of six months. These
requests are to be preserved for a period of six months. The details of
the customer should be provided to IRCTC as and when required. In
the absence of written request and/or ID proof, a penalty of Rs. 5,000/-
+ Taxes per case will be imposed.
DON’T FOR IRCTC ID HOLDERS
Do not book from Personal User ID. VLE’s should book tickets
using only IRCTC provided agent id’s. If found to be using
Personal User Ids for commercial gains, then their ids will be
deactivated immediately as well as punitive/Legal action will be
taken against them.

Modification/Alteration/Tampering the Electronic


Reservation Slip (ERS) is strictly
prohibited. Any such act will be considered as a criminal
activity and punishable
Cancellation of the tickets without the knowledge and
request of the customer is prohibited and penalty can be
imposed/prompt action can be taken.
Please ensure that agent will provide the Mobile No. Of customer
while booking so that
SMS of ticket details including the fare + other charges.
