This week was both physically tiring and mentally fulfilling, offering me invaluable insights into the

practical aspects of teaching.

The week began with me administering long quizzes to both Grade 7 and Grade 10 students. These
quizzes were designed to assess students' learning on the topics we had covered in the previous three
weeks. The goal was not only to measure their understanding but also to review key content in
preparation for the upcoming 2nd quarter examinations. During examination I made sure to emphasize
the importance of honesty during the quiz and maintained classroom management to ensure that the
assessment environment was conducive to learning.

On Tuesday, it was one of the most anticipated days of my internship journey. It marked the culmination
of my teaching experience with my final demonstration. I had prepared meticulously for this day, as it
was my opportunity to showcase everything I had learned and applied throughout my time in the
classroom. During the demonstration, I incorporated the teaching strategies and classroom
management techniques that I had developed, as well as focusing on my physical presentation, such as
my voice and appearance. It was a nerve-wracking yet rewarding experience, and I felt a deep sense of
accomplishment. Mrs. Ilonah Jean A. Vivo, the Head of the Office of Student Services of Visayas State
University Tolosa, and Mrs. Cynthia C. Cadayoc, Teacher 3 at Cabatoan National High School, observed
my demonstration and provided constructive feedback. Their insights were valuable in helping me
identify areas of improvement for my future teaching career.

On Wednesday and Thursday, I was tasked with administering the 2nd quarter examinations. Before
distributing the exams, I took time to instruct the students on the rules and procedures they were
expected to follow during the test. Ensuring clarity in my instructions was crucial in maintaining order
and focus during the examination. As the students worked through their papers, I made sure to monitor
the room closely, offering assistance where needed, and ensuring that the examination environment
was calm and respectful.

Meanwhile, on Friday was an emotional day, as the school organized a send-off ceremony for all teacher
interns. The ceremony included student performances, heartfelt messages, and the giving of farewell
letters. This gesture made me feel appreciated and highlighted the strong bond I had formed with the
students and the faculty throughout my internship. It was a moment of reflection, marking the end of
my formal internship journey, but also symbolizing the start of my professional career as a teacher.

Lastly on Saturday, I joined my fellow teacher interns for an outreach program in Brgy. Cabatoan, Dulag,
Leyte. We organized games "Laro ng Lahi" for the children in the community, offering small prizes for
the winners. The children's smiles and laughter were a heartwarming way to close out my week.
The tenth week of my internship was a significant period of reflection, growth, and meaningful
engagement. It was a week that allowed me to evaluate my progress as an educator, apply everything I
had learned over the past months, and receive constructive feedback that will help shape my future
career. From administering quizzes to assess students' learning, to delivering my final demonstration,
and even participating in an outreach program, each activity played a vital role in my personal and
professional development.

One of the most valuable aspects of this week was the opportunity to assess the students' learning
through quizzes. The quizzes I administered to Grade 7 and Grade 10 students not only helped me gauge
their understanding of the topics covered but also served as a reflection of the teaching strategies I had
implemented throughout my internship. As I reviewed their responses, I was able to identify areas
where my teaching methods had been effective and where improvements could be made. This process
of self-evaluation was invaluable in refining my skills and deepening my understanding of how to best
support student learning.

The highlight of the week was, without a doubt, my final demonstration. Preparing for and delivering the
demonstration was both exhilarating and nerve-wracking, but it was a moment I truly cherished. The
feedback I received from Mrs. Ilonah Jean A. Vivo and Mrs. Cynthia C. Cadayoc, proccessor observer,
was incredibly insightful. They praised my strengths, such as my ability to manage the classroom and
engage students, while also offering suggestions for further improvement. Their feedback not only
helped me understand what I had done well but also gave me specific areas to focus on as I continue to
develop my teaching skills.

In addition to the academic tasks, the students’ performances, heartfelt messages, and the farewell
letters they presented to us during the Send-Off Ceremony was a reminder of why I chose to pursue this
profession in the first place: to make a positive impact on young lives. The ceremony made me reflect on
how far I had come and how much I had learned from the students, who had taught me just as much as I
had taught them.
The community outreach was a fulfilling reminder that teaching extends beyond the classroom and that
making a difference can happen in many forms, whether through academic instruction or simply
bringing joy to others.

Reflecting on my experiences from this week, I realized how much I have grown both as an educator and
as a person. The combination of hands-on teaching, feedback from experienced mentors, and the
opportunity to connect with students and the wider community has made me even more passionate
about teaching. The tenth week of my internship has been a truly transformative experience that I will
carry with me as I move forward in my teaching career.
