Guidelines
Exceptional member experience is key to who we are at FORA. It is therefore important that as the face of FORA, you demonstrate this in how you present yourself to our clients. It is
also important to us that you bring your authentic self to work, that you feel comfortable in what you wear and that you to dress to your own personal thermal comfort level.
We trust you in knowing how to dress for your role and to interpret what is and isn’t suitable attire, but we have put together the following guidelines, which will hopefully help.
Presentation
As long as you appear clean, tidy and smart for work each day – we’re happy!
Please note that any visible tattoos which include words or images that may cause upset, or offence are not permitted at FORA Jewellery must also adhere to health & safety standards
and must not pose any risk.
Things to note...
If you are not sure about a particular item of clothing, a tattoo, piercing or a piece of jewellery, please feel free to speak with your manager or a member of the People Team. Any misuse
of these guidelines may become a matter for disciplinary action in accordance with the disciplinary policy.

Style Guide:
All workwear should be ’Smart’ rather than smart-casual
You have a £350 uniform allowance.
You must wear your lanyard or pin at all times as an identifying factor.

Do’s Don'ts
Jeans need to be smart and have no rips No overly faded, bleached or ripped jeans. No colored denim with
trainers
Black jeans can be worn with trainers, any other denim needs to be
worn with a ‘smarter’ shoe choice
Chinos, smart or tailored trousers of any colour No leggings, joggers or overly casual trousers
Smart shirts, blouses and t-shirts with either no branding or very No low cut tops, shirts or blouses and no overly branded tops
minimal branding.
No hoodies, branded jumpers or overly worn knitwear
Smart jumpers, cardigans and polo necks
Smart jumpsuits No playsuits or low cut jumpsuits
Smart sleeveless tops/dresses/shirts/jumpers/jumpsuits No vest tops, spaghetti strap items of clothing, cropped items of any
kind (without a base layer) or cut out dresses/tops
No overly tight clothing
Smart or tailored shorts, dresses and skirts which should be no No mini skirts, mini dresses or short shorts. No denim shorts
shorter than 10cm above the knee
All shoes must cover your toes and heels must be of a wearable No stilettos, no casual footwear (uggs, crocs), sports
height (this is for H&S reasons) trainers/trainers without a flat sole, flipflops and open toed
sandals.
Smart shoes, slingbacks, boots, trainers (flat soled with minimal
branding) and loafers No dirty or overly scuffed trainers or shoes
All items of clothing must be in good condition No caps/hats that are not worn for religious reasons

• Activewear and Hoodies
• Dirty, torn & unkempt clothes
• Heavily Branded / worded T-shirts
• Crop tops of any kind
• No jeans/casual trousers and trainers
• No ripped jeans or overly baggy jeans
• No Hats
• Heels above 3 inches
• No leggings
• No open toe shoes
• No dirty/scratched trainers
• No low cut items of clothing or incredibly
tight clothing
• No mini dresses, skirts or shorts
• No crocs or ugg boots
• Spaghetti straps
