CHAPTER III

METHODS OF RESEARCH

Research Design

This present study used an experimental research design


under quantitative research. Creswell (2014), defines
quantitative research as an inquiry into a social or human
problem, based on testing a theory composed of variables,
measured with numbers, and analyzed with statistical
procedures, in order to determine whether the predictive
generalizations of the theory hold true. Experimental
research is testing the independent variable to determine
whether it influences a dependent variable (Creswell, 2012
). During the study, the researcher engaged two variables,
which served as independent and dependent variables.
Research Locale

This research will be carried out in Macabacle, Bacolor,


Pampanga. The researchers chose this location since it
houses all of our necessary tools and supplies, such as the
mold, concrete, and plastic additives used to create our
product and it is also surrounded with hollow blocks and
construction suppliers.
