and analytics is the combustion engine. On behalf of the analytics cluster of school of
business, I, Nandini
Host 2: and I, Vanya, extend a very warm welcome to everyone present here including our
esteemed faculty members and distinguished fellows that have made the journey here to share
their knowledge about the world of analytics with our inquisitive students.
Host 1: DIGET-the analytical society of school of business is delighted to have been given
the opportunity to conduct this series of seminars. DIGET, since its inception, has diligently
been hosting workshops with discussions ranging from the basics of python to advanced
power bi.
Host 2: Our first session is titled Understanding data by Mr. Harsh Govil. The session’s
highlights will include python fundamentals, control and data structures as well as having the
chance to practice on quite a few coding exercises.
Host 1: Our second session hosted by Mr. Aman Mishra shall be based on handling data using
python and power bi. The session will include everything ranging from power bi basics to
data visualization techniques and exploratory data analysis.
Host 2: Before we begin with our sessions, I would be absolutely honoured to invite the
faculty mentors of diget- Mr. Neeraj Rathore, Dr, Sanjiv Singh and Dr. Tarunpreet Kaur along
with our guests- Mr. Govil and Mr. Mishra to kindle the flame of enlightenment and officially
inaugurate our event. As the lamp is lit, may its radiance touch each one of you, kindling in
you the immortal flame of knowledge and understanding.
Host 1: Beginning with our very first session of the day, our guest Mr. Harsh Govil is a
seasoned professional with over 3 decades of experience in the corporate world having
worked across industries such as marketing, terminal operations, instrumentation and
information systems. Sir is currently working with the Indian Oil corporation limited as the
general manager of the information systems department. sir has been associated with
development of systems for different functions like Finance, Retail, Payroll and Operations.
A keen interest in following technology trends, his other interests include sustainability,
social issues and using technology to provide intelligent solutions. We would like to invite sir
on stage for what I am sure will prove to be an insightful session. Can we have a huge round
of applause for sir!
Host1: Sir, we would like to thank you for all the efforts and insights that you have provided
us with in such a short span of time. It was truly an insightful session.
Host 2: Moving on to our second session of the day titled handling data using python and
power bi by Mr. Aman Mishra. Sir, has been associated with Indian oil corporation limited
for almost a decade and is currently working as a general manager in the department of
information systems. Mr. Mishra has developed large scale solutions for various verticals
including retail sales, LPG, international trade and natural gas in a career spanning across
almost a decade. I would like to invite sir on stage with a huge round of applause.

Mishra for sharing his knowledge and insights with us and helping us expand our knowledge
of the information systems.
