Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed learners
and honored guests standing before you
is Gauta Malapane, chairperson of the
SCO.
This day is a ve special day, a day we all
have been waiting for as the organization.
It was not as smooth sailing in planning
and executing as we would have hoped for
but I believe God orchestrates things the
way they're meant to be. I, as a member of
the SCO found it ve bene cial in all
aspects of my life to be a pa of it.
Though I grew up in a Christian home, it's
such a great fo une nding people my
age who share the same faith regardless
of their upbringing. I have learned
teamwork, leadership, cooperation and to
be content in the presence of God. My
relationship with God was inconsistent
sometimes but I got to be pa of a church
that is able to hold me accountable and I
can surely say that I have grown
spiritually. It is remarkable seeing what
God can do in a young person's life, after
all, all things work for the good of those
who love the Lord. I may not be pe ect,
but I have found the right path to life,
which is Jesus. Some seek it but do not
nd, some know of it yet they choose a
di erent way. At the end of the day Jesus
is the way, the truth and the life and He is
still molding us into who we're meant to
be. I pray that eve soul here may seek
Him and nd Him. We are never too far
gone for Jesus to nd us. Lastly, I do
encourage eve one to avail themselves to
the 10 minute afternoon prayer sessions
afterschool and during exam seasons,
they're held in the mornings at 7 10.
