The NSS Unit of the College organized the following Institutional Social Responsibility Programmes:
Eg:
1. A one-day camp on Inclusion of New Voters was organized in our College Campus on 18.07.2017. The chief
guest was Mr. Raman, District Collector, Vellore District. About 250 students enrolled their names in the voters
list.
2. Mr. V. Pushparaj, NSS Programme Officer and two NSS Volunteers have participated in “One- Day Orientation
Programme for NSS Programme Officers and NSS Volunteers” conducted by the NSS Cell, Anna University,
Chennai, held on 19th August 2017.

Counsellors identify and overcome barriers to academic learning of students such as issues related to
attendance, discipline, health, academic performance, peer pressure, language, barriers, learning
disabilities, educational gaps, lack of interest, etc.
Personality Development Programme is conducted for all first year students.
The Career Guidance Cell intensively looks after counseling students on matters relating to
employment and arranges various programmes. The Cell provides notifications about vacancies to
the students on notice boards.
Add-on courses for strengthening technical skills.
Yoga classes are being conducted to improve their concentration in studies and strengthen their
memory power.
Life Skills Management Programme was organized by Dr. Rajachandrasekar.
