Claiming an expense on Chrome River
1. On the Emburse homepage, click ‘+’ on the blue ‘expenses’

2. In the ‘report name’ field add the name of your expense and click
‘Save’.

3. Press upload - The item is now stored in your SNAP gallery and
ready to be added to an expense. Please exit the SNAP app and
open the Chrome River app.

If you create an expense that exceeds the policy


limit, you will see an on-screen notification. Please
review the ‘Global Expense Policy’. If you wish to
proceed, you will need to fill out the box and post a
response for the approver, explaining why you have
exceeded the policy.

6. If your expense related to a specific project, add the project


code here. (This is optional)

5. Complete all the fields, including a clear business purpose for this
expense.

7. At the bottom of the page, you can add attachments by clicking


the receipt gallery for images from the SNAP app, ‘add
attachment’ or drag-and-drop the files into this section.

Requesting someone else to approve an expense.
Expenses should be paid by the most senior easyJet employee in
attendance at an event e.g. a team meal. Therefore, you should be the one
that incurs the expense for approval by your line manager who wasn't at
the event.
If you do still need to request someone else to approve, please follow these
steps to ask another approver to review the claim.

1. Open the expense and click the three dots on the right-hand side
of the screen and click ‘reassign’.

2. Use the search function to find and add the name of the person
you are reassigning the claim to for their approval.
3. Add a note to explain the situation.
4. Click ‘reassign’ to confirm. This will then redirect the claim to the
new approver.
