The simple present tense is used to describe:
General truths (e.g., The sun rises in the east.)
Habits and routines (e.g., I drink coffee every morning.)
Scheduled events (e.g., The meeting starts at 9 a.m.)
Feelings and states (e.g., She loves her job.)
Structure
Affirmative Sentences
Subject (I/You/We/They) + base verb
I work in an office.
You work in an office.
We work in an office.
They work in an office.
Subject (He/She/It) + base verb (+s/es)
He works in an office.
She works in an office.
It works well.
Negative Sentences
Subject + do not (don’t) + base verb (for I, You, We, They)
I do not (don’t) work on Sundays.
You do not work on Sundays.
We do not work on Sundays.
They do not work on Sundays.
Subject + does not (doesn’t) + base verb (for He, She, It)
He does not (doesn’t) work on Sundays.
She does not work on Sundays.
It does not function properly.

Short Answers:
