Assignment Framework: Industry-Based Marketing
Project
Guidelines:
1. Team Formation:
o Each team must have a maximum of 6 members.
o Individual presentations are not allowed; collaboration is
mandatory.
2. Submission Requirements:
o Each team must submit:
A hard copy of their report.
A PDF file of the same report.
A PowerPoint presentation prepared by each team
member.
3. Evaluation Criteria:
o Individual Presentation: 70% of total marks.
o Overall Report Quality: 30% of total marks.
4. Plagiarism Check:
o All reports will undergo an AI plagiarism check.
o If plagiarism exceeds 30%, the entire team will receive zero
marks.
5. Presentation Rules:
o Each team member will present their respective part.
o However, all members must have full knowledge of the entire
report.
o Teams will be called randomly on the presentation day; no
serial order will be followed.
o Only one chance will be given to each team and their
members.
o Presentation dates are fixed; no rescheduling requests will be
entertained.
Project Details:
Each team is assigned a specific industry or sector.
Teams must conduct in-depth research on their allocated
industry/sector.
Identify consumer demand within the industry.
Based on identified demand, finalize a product or service offering.
Research Methodology:
Teams can conduct both online and physical surveys.
Survey findings should be incorporated into the presentation.
Teams may also include video interviews of customers.
A minimum of 4-5 customer interviews must be showcased in the
presentation.
Marketing Mix Analysis (7 P’s):
Teams must analyze their product/service using the 7 P’s of
Marketing.
Not all P’s may be relevant to every industry; teams must justify the
exclusion of any P.
The analysis must be well-structured and logically presented.
